Two women are dead following a fatal crash when Albuquerque police pursued a suspected bank robber late Tuesday morning.
According to police, officers spotted the suspects vehicle leaving the bank at Louisiana and Candelaria and followed it without initially initiating pursuit.
They later did pursue the car along Interstate 40 to the citys West Side where the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Jeremiah Jackson of Albuquerque, eventually ran head-on into an oncoming car while he was driving the wrong way on Ouray near Coors.
Two women in the car, Kimberly Aragon-Nunez, 34, and Janice Flores, 28, both from Albuquerque, died from the crash. Police say the women were on their way to lunch.
Jackson fled the area on foot to a nearby home where police took him into custody.
Officials say he will be charged federally with homicide as well as bank robbery.
NM list PING!
(Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list)
Take this vermin out back and cap him now. 2 productive citizens are dead cause of him.
Here's hoping he resisted arrest. Severely resisted.
THe next picture of this bastard must have the word EXECUTED across it. Won’t bring back the two innocent women Jackson killed, but getting rid of him will make the streets a little safer.
In Bill Richardson's New Mexico, the death penalty was abolished last year. The police wisely turned this case over to the FBI likely because of the controversy that is already occurring regarding the hot pursuit. Whether the Feds have a death penalty for a homicide that occurs during an armed robbery, I don't know.
Damn.....
I believe this is same bank where APD Swat Sniper Steve Rodriguez shot the wall of the bank twice before he made a kill shot on the robber back when.....

I remember both the missed shots at the bank and the Baby save shot on the Rio Grande bridge on I-40.
Sad this POS didn’t get into Steve’s replacements cross-hairs before he killed these two ladies......
KRQE reports the US attorney has the authority to prosecute the case as a the death penalty case.
I remember the bridge situation.
Yeah the bank shot was from over a wall he was too close to and he was using an Hk if my memory serves me right with a scope mount that was pretty high.....a variant of the PSG1 I think and he had a clear shot in the scope but the close range he popped up had him hit the wall about 4 feet in front of him.....another officer fired a distracting shot to make the robber look to his left away from the hostage ....not sure of the details but it was a long time ago !
Steve popped up and snap shot and hit the wall a second time I think. I think the guy may have given up before he was shot after the distraction shot and then Steves missed wall shot.....
I met Steve up at CTA in the Canyon once at the DOE range. Nice guy. Ya hear he’s on the way bad guys would just give up pretty much !.......:o)
Whether the Feds have a death penalty for a homicide that occurs during an armed robbery, I don’t know.
Even if they do, with Hussein Obama and his f’d up AG in power, they will probably want to give the guy a pass on the
death penalty
Sad. RIP.
