It's a legal drama with a decent cast. The political jabs against Republicans started early on in the season. Then, a storyline started up with one of the lead characters, played by Christine Baranski, being pursued by a Republican. He sends her Sarah Palin's book. She sends him back that mock Palin book that libs made up. Okay, not bad. <\P>
On this week's episode, Baranski sees Palin giving a speech on tv, gets disgusted and turns the tv off. She finally gives in and goes out for dinner with the Republican. She tells him that she can't have a relationsip with him because, "You like Sarah Palin. She's the devil incarnate." This show has declared war on Sarah Palin, and it's been a running theme all season. Needless to say, my husband and I are done with the show.
Another candidate for the re-education camps.
good to know where your enemies are, and CBS was always one of them.
Sounds about as boring as all those LAW&ORDER episodes whose big plot twists somehow end up bashing conservatives, tea partiers, 2nd Amendment upholders, religious Christians, etc. I vote with my eyeballs and watch something else, like a nice NCIS rerun. That’s what the channel switching button on the remote is for.
I can’t watch shows about lawyers. You’re supposed to root for the hero in the story, but I want bad things to happen to them—
Of course, maybe unwittingly, the show’s writers have displayed the absolute shallowness of liberals. Baranski’s character is in search of a meaningful relationship. She finds an opposite, but similarly talented prospect in Garry Cole’s ballistics analyst. He is conservative, Republican, individualist, but is willing to look past his political differences because he sees something in Baranski he likes. She sees the same in him, but is unwilling to look past his political leanings. And liberals claim to be more human and compassionate. The show’s writers make the right’s argument for us.
When we get rid of the TV and begin to live without the Indoctinator, we will display to Hollywood/New York that they do not influence us. Let’s dry up their money. Forget the movies, shoot the TV.
Talk about an obsession.
The left needs to get over her and perhaps concentrate on our freedoms being taken away. s/
Never wasted my time with the leftist agitprop garbage...
What’s a CBS?
With technology today it is easy to make your own films to watch on TV.
I got about 50 hours of my daughter and she is only 7 months old.
CBS? I didn’t know they were still in business, but . . . I guess they’re still the best source available for “fake but accurate” stories that bash conservatives.
My husband and I really like this show. We stopped watching Law and Order because it is pretty much Democrat talking points.
This show, however, seems to deal more with crime than politics. Also, the political elements show the dirty Chicago politics—I think that belongs to the Democrats right now.
The Garry Cole character is a quite attractive conservative. It was funny to see Baranski’s character acting like a school girl around him, telling him she couldn’t compromise her principles and then going to bed with him.
I watch this one too, and got quite the opposite reading from it. The conservative is shown as being willing to judge the liberal based not on her political beliefs, but on her personal character. The liberal is unable to reciprocate.
Give it another chance, it’s an ok show.
Well, you know Hollywood:
“All liberals are good people and all good people are liberals.”
Screw ‘em.
If I hadn’t seen this post, I’d have never even known that CBS had a show by that name.
Or that CBS itself was even still on the air, for that matter.
CBS - NBC - ABC
They all push liberal crap.
That’s why I rarely watch anymore.
The “devil incarnate” rip is too much for me to overlook, even if it makes the person saying it look bad. There’s no balance. They’re just ripping Sarah Palin apart. Too much of an agenda for me. I expect this from SNL and Letterman, not from a mainstream drama.
Looks like he’s mugging his mother to me, lol.
