Orange is the new black.
The “hip hip” (read: “rap” read: “kill whitey”) culture takes over.
Orange is the color of prison uniforms in federal Penitentiaries as well as main state prisons.
They have co-opted the look, just like the gang members wore “chinos” in the 70s and 80s.
Keep that in mind when you succumb to the latest fashion trend.
Sherrif Joe makes em wear pink.
Does hunter orange count?
I see orange and I think of deer hunting and pumpkin pie, myself...
Ugghh, I hate orange.
That dress is coral...just saying. Coral and peach were cool two years ago. Trying to dump their knock offs.
I’ll wear whatever color I want, Ccnvict’s don’t have a corner on the color market. I like orange and already have a few items in various shades.
By your analogy I shouldn’t wear red because it’s represents communists, or green for the environuts, or blue for the libtard states.
God created the colors, man created stupidity.
LOL!
Sorry, I didn’t hear a word you said.
Orange makes me puke!!!
Great the ugliest color of all. I look like I’m dying of the flu in orange.
Orange has always been in vogue for me and my folks. UTK CVM 1983.
me too - I hate orange...
does this mean my grubby orange last year flip flops are “in” now?
More like a Dutch plot to unload yards and yards of orange awning material...
Sorry it will sit on the shelf. My colors are blue, pink, blue-reds, shades of purple. Orange is not a flattering color on most people.
Orange is my favorite color...love it and most of the warm colors and of course "black".
I think that it is just a matter of skin tones. (warm or cool)
Right you are. I have very pale skin, blue gray eyes, white hair. I once did the Color Me Beautiful testing, I’m a Summer, and warm tones just wash what little color I have out. I can wear winter white but not white. If the red is of an orange cast, I can’t wear it, but a blue cast and it is great on me. I can wear the cool shades of green like lime but not the warmer tones. The only easy way for me to wear black is as a jacket with a cool toned blouse or shell. Blue-reds, purple and deep or hot pink are my favorite colors.
I love color, I’m a quilter! A quilt-a-holic in fact.
Happy quilting, I'll bet they are beautiful. I used to do a lot of sewing, but never tried quilting.
Oh, girl you don’t know what you are missing! I sewed for my boys when they were small, but gave it up when they started school and didn’t want home made’s any more. Now I sew for my youngest granddaughter 8 who is skinny as a rail and 5 yr old great grand.
All you need are a few simple block patterns, 4 patch or 9 patch, start small with place mats, move to crib size, then you have mastered the basics. A few basic supplies, cutting mat, Martelli http://www.martellicatalog.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=P1 rotary cutter (it’s the best) they sell a complete mat and cutter system I wish I could afford. Some rulers, I like the one with the lip on it it helps to steady it when cutting. I use to do all fussy cutting, but now I do more rotary cutting. A quarter inch foot for your sewing machine and a walking foot if it’s not already built in. A No Slip hoop 14-16 inches http://www.nosliphoops.com/ The net http://www.quilterscache.com/ can provide a ton of free patterns, chose simple ones to start with, and go from there. It’s addictive! I buy all my rulers and mats when Hobby Lobby or Hancocks have 40% off coupons or good sales on other wise they are expensive.
Unless it is small as in place mat size, I hand quilt my projects. More satisfaction for me. And portable.
