Rainy Season continues.
The blossoms on the fruit trees are doing well,, now if I can defeat the squirrels and birds ..
For the non-Greenies, it's not my fault, blame Gaia. (ducks and runs....)
How much rainfall total do they predict?
Unreal since we came across the AZ desert to Los Angeles yesterday in 97 degree weather!!!
“UNSEASONABLY COLD WEATHER WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY”
I thought it said unreasonably cold weather, with which I certainly agree.
Believe it or not the long range forecast has another storm for the following Wednesday. Unusual to say the least for Southern California.
Plenty of water now for the Delta Smelt guppies but none allowed for the Central Ca. farmers.....
We have the most boring weather here in north San Diego county, it’s either sunny (not complaining) or cloudy with rain or drizzle (i really hate drizzle). But we never get thunderstorms, I’d like a thunderstorm or two once in a while.
It’s going to rain?....I can’t take it anymore!!!!
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM ONE-HALF TO ONE INCH WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS WITH ONE TO TWO INCHES ON THE COASTAL MOUNTAIN SLOPES. ABOUT ONE-QUARTER INCH WILL FALL OVER THE UPPER DESERTS...WITH LESS THAN A QUARTER INCH IN THE LOWER DESERTS.
THIS COLD STORM WILL LOWER SNOW LEVELS DOWN TO 4000 FEET WEDNESDAY. SEVERAL INCHES OF HEAVY WET SNOW ARE EXPECTED ABOVE 5000 FEET...WITH AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES ABOVE 6000 FEET.
That Volcano did it!
But but but that’s what keeps UCSC Green...
I went up valley about 23 miles to practice casting a new line with a rod that is hard to master.
The wind came up from the NW at about 2:30pm, and even the seagulls, ducks and mergansers stopped flying.
We are expecting rain tonight and probably a lot then and tomorrow.
Nice and sunny down here after a hazy morning....
I like it just this way,...hang onto that stuff up there.
More and more of us locals are wishing for them to either experience 110 degrees or on the flipside, a huge spring wind event.
