A gift from us in Alaska to all the Greenies in Califlower.

For the non-Greenies, it's not my fault, blame Gaia. (ducks and runs....)

“UNSEASONABLY COLD WEATHER WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY”

I thought it said unreasonably cold weather, with which I certainly agree.

Believe it or not the long range forecast has another storm for the following Wednesday. Unusual to say the least for Southern California.

We have the most boring weather here in north San Diego county, it’s either sunny (not complaining) or cloudy with rain or drizzle (i really hate drizzle). But we never get thunderstorms, I’d like a thunderstorm or two once in a while.

I went up valley about 23 miles to practice casting a new line with a rod that is hard to master.

The wind came up from the NW at about 2:30pm, and even the seagulls, ducks and mergansers stopped flying.

We are expecting rain tonight and probably a lot then and tomorrow.

We have been threatened with rain all day but Cape Medocino seems to be shielding Humboldt Bay as the rain has come ashore near the mouth of the Klamath...

I wish this had happened around here this past weekend....we had that horrendous "Coachella Music Festival", and all the druggies got to enjoy perfect low 90's and calm weather.

More and more of us locals are wishing for them to either experience 110 degrees or on the flipside, a huge spring wind event.

Heads up. Channel 7 Doppler just showed snow in San Pedro. Also Orange County Mountains. Some very cold pockets of air coming in off the cold North Pacific.
