READY! SET! GO! LUNCH!

A Great Blue Heron scores lunch. I might be able to get closer to this one but if they get curious about something they might decide to give it a poke. That beak is serious business.

That’s exactly what they look like when they are in my pond eating my koi. I’m going to shoot it if I get the chance, it ate about $800 worth last time.

I don’t know what it is, but I suggest the 30/.06 and have the guide back you up with a 12 gauge loaded with 00 buck.

Great pics!

Reminded me that I got this live eagle cam in an email on April 20:

You can see the little one if you look right now.

That’s great, except it would chase away the good birds, which we have no problem with when they come by to take a drink.

Yep, along the east shore. That new seawall really makes things difficult, a sloping bank makes framing easier.

Great Pics! Occasionally one lands near a marsh on my father’s property. Those birds have a huge wingspan!

Looks like an orb weaver.

Hope you didn’t disturb her. If not, check the web and look to see if she wrote you a message.

REally. My Mom used to check for a W or a P in the web.
