Hitler “Downfall” Parodies Removed from YouTube
The movie studio responsible for the award-winning, German-Austrian film Downfall (German: Der Untergang) has asked YouTube to take down several videos from the massively popular subtitled “Hitler finds out…” meme, and the site has complied.
Search YouTube and you’ll still find hundreds of Downfall parodies, but click through to some of the bigger ones and you’ll now get the message, “This video contains content from Constantin Film, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.”
According to TechCrunch, the first Downfall parody to be taken down was the one about the iPhone 4G leak, but other popular parodies followed. At four million views, “Hitler Gets Banned from Xbox Live” was one of the most watched and thus among the casualties. The remaining videos might get taken down soon as well.

Folks should watch the actual movie. It’s excellent. So good you forget it’s in German and subtitled in English.
Dang, I wish I had seen the “Hitler banned from Xbox Live” one before they took it down.
Idiots, it was free publicity. I would have never heard of nor bought the movie on DVD if I didn’t see the Real Estate Downfall parody.
Great movie, if you can stomach the whole Goebbels family thing.
The first one I saw was on Brown winning in Mass. I immediately put the movie in my queue on Netflix.
It was a very good movie. I could not stomach the Goebbels family and the actions of the mother - which, I think, was the whole point. Monsters all.
I’m sure someone has created a version of Hitler complaining of the parody’s being removed from youtube.

Maybe DEVO was right all along.
My favorite was the one where Hitler played Hillary Clinton and the generals were the campaign staffers telling her that Obama’s victory over her in the primaries was inevitable.

Oh,no,I didn’t know there was one about Hitler getting bsnned from XBox Live. I would have liked to see that one! XBox is kind of an issue in our family.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. How many people would have even heard of the film, must less saw it, had it not been for the parodies?
Cowboys Lose To Giants was one of the first and best. It went downhill from there.
Is there anybody who believes this administration didn’t have a hand in getting this taken down?
