I have been to Palin rallies in 08 and Tea Parties in 09-10. I have been praying for our country and I have high hopes for November.

You’re apparently new to politics. The “infighting” as you call it happens each election cycle and will continue to happen in the future. DeVore has supporters who do not want hom to drop out nor should he. Even if he had no chance of winning it is a primary and his presence in the race forces his opponent to turn further right to get the nomination. This is some pretty basic stuff and something you should have known before you created your ridiculous vanity.

Well stated. And courageous post. Maybe you'll have time to support Palin in 2012, she needs people like you with those attributes. Some people here believe just supporting conservative candidates, whatever the situation, is the way to get conservatives elected in the long run. I largely agree, though sometimes we just have to make exceptions. But everyone can disagree on that, none of us will always agree with everyone else. But you are right that a big risk going forward for conservatives is our propensity to eat out own. Viscously. Palin is the high profile target at the moment, but this sort of stuff is habit forming, and will continue. Its ridiculous and self-defeating. Save the fire for RINOs, the Republican Establishment and the Dims. Otherwise it'll be Romney ... or some other RINO in 2012.
