I too, could not watch the entire video. I do know, however, that domestic cats are very loving and affectionate when brought up in a loving and caring home. You will never find a better companion and friend . . . they are truly God’s creatures.
Very sad, poor kitties.
The cat stops occaisonally and looks around, almost as if looking for someone to help or come to the rescue.
Even G*D’s Creation groans because of what sin has done to it. My eyes got all blurry for some reason.
You must admit the accompanying music does not help watch it. I mean, “Bless the Beasts and The Children” It’s begging to make you cry.
Amen! As a side note, my 12 y/o outside cat had disappeared about two weeks ago, we thought she may have crawled off somewhere to die as she wouldn't come when called and all of her food was not being eaten. However, when I opened the door yesterday morning, her and my 13 y/o dog, who hates every cat but her, were lying down together facing each other and it looked like they were "talking", you could just see the love and concern in my dog's eyes. It was such a sweet sight, it made me cry!
Maybe, maybe not. Romans 8:19-21:
19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. 20 Against its will, everything on earth was subjected to God's curse. 21 All creation anticipates the day when it will join God's children in glorious freedom from death and decay.
Very sad. Animals do indeed feel the pain of loss and grieve, too.
If these are feral cats he is probably looking around for his own safety. He would never look for a human to come and help.
I used to have a bunny who would play with one of my cats all the time. One day when I came home, the bunny was dead.
The poor cat looked for the bunny everywhere, for several days. There was no way to tell him his little friend was gone. It was heartbreaking.
Touching dog/cat story, ravingnutter. Sounds like a story for those Chicken Soup for the Animal Lover’s soul.
God created the Earth for the animals, too. As for their eternal fate, that is a mystery. As the saying goes - Father knows best.
At one point we had three dogs that were great together. When the largest male was injured we took him to the vet, but there was nothing they could do and he had to be put down. We brought his body back to the house and laid him out in the yard for a time so that the other two would know what happened. I think it helps them to understand.
