ZOT!! What is really going to happen? (Vanity)

Posted on 05/19/2010 6:15:39 PM PDT by Shooterbug

I know there is a lot of speculation on what will happen in the next few years, but I would really like to know if anyone has a real good sense of what will be going on in a few years. I would like to be prepared, but don't want to over prepare. Is there a real good sense of what is coming in the next few years? I have the ammunition I need, but is it really necessary to stockpile food. Just curious as to what other here are doing. Thanks

You might want to take long hard look at Tom Baugh's advice. Not for the weak minded, and especially not for collectivist monkeys.

Decide: are you a man? Or a monkey?

no, you do not need to stockpile food. when the SHTF all of the grocery stores will remain open and shelves will be full. same with filling stations, they will all be open 24 hours a day with unlimited amounts of fuel for all......good God.

Historically God Almighty destroyed the idols men put their confidence in. In the USA the rule is not at the White House, or the State Dept, the Pentagon, or the Congress, Supreme Court or the Press. The rule is at the Central Banks. Honey, we are SLAVES. And they will dictate to us and we better be ready to dance when they play the fiddle. The idea of In God We Trust on money, is kind of laughable, because MOST Americans TRUST in their god..that was elected, and he won’t be able to pull any rabbits out of this sleeve.

Ditto this!

STOCKPILE food, more ammo, weapons, medical supplies, etc.

By the way, see post 13.

Be wary of everything Laz posts, ‘cuz he hits everything.

You’ll learn the meaning and deep significance of zots, series, hugh, cheese and showers.

Until you know those terms in context, the full meaning of FReerepublic will not be clear to you.

I’m working on getting my own little fiefdom, like Luxemburg, only of course a lot smaller.

Um no...the narco traffickers are the exiled Medellin Cartel operating on the borders. Mexico City is safe because the narcos are smart enough to stay out of there.

A bunch of yahoos in the border states on the Mexican side are on the payroll of the Medellin, they are the ones that populate La Raza and the like. Then there are the ones on the US side.

Mexico is a country of contrasts. Need to unite conservatives there with conservatives here and rid the border regions on both sides of the narcos.

Some advocate drug legalization, I don’t. Narco deprived of their illicit drug trade will resort to extortion, prostitution, controlling provinces by controlling politicians and judges. They are like the Al Capones of today.

A war with Mexico will only make matters worse.

I think it's a fair question. We keep hearing these doomsday scenarios. But I assume even most Greek citizens tonight are still surviving. We all know the day of reckoning is coming, but I don't think anyone knows what to expect.

A lot of people are scared, but don't know exactly what to do about it.

Geez...that a tough question, I guess you should pick door #3.....OVERPREPARE!!!!!!!!!

This is really second nature to the vets on this board. After all after Y2K...what could be worse!

Perhaps a quick note to the PREZ....he would know what to do. After all he did save the south side of Chicago. Its a garden of Eden now, I hear.

Good Luck Shooter!

Food is the most important unless you want to use that ammo to steal someone else’s food.

I am not going with like bunker supplies, but be sensible on what to save and rotate. Like don’t just save canned vegetables, don’t forget meat. And I watch for sales to stock up. For instance those tuna packets were on a good price last week and I bought about 20 packets of tuna that has a pretty long shelf life. Good source of protein!

Also, don’t forget things you won’t be able to run out and get if a bank collapse happens. If I see cough syrup or bandages and most especially ibuprofen or other fever reducers on sale, grab up a batch extra. You don’t have to go and spend a boatload of money on storing supplies all at once, but get a place to have your ‘stockpile’ and as you catch something on sale that seems like it would be good to have (don’t forget menstrual items for the ladies in your house) if you needed them.

I know they have these MRE’s and stuff like that and I just can’t afford stuff like that. But I do have some corned beef hash! LOL

Oh oh oh, and powdered milk!!! They have powdered buttermilk and regular milk which stores and you can cook with it if you can’t get milk.

Hope that helps.
