I know there is a lot of speculation on what will happen in the next few years, but I would really like to know if anyone has a real good sense of what will be going on in a few years. I would like to be prepared, but don't want to over prepare. Is there a real good sense of what is coming in the next few years? I have the ammunition I need, but is it really necessary to stockpile food. Just curious as to what other here are doing. Thanks

Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Is it good to be prepared? Of course. Food, water, provisions, emergency supplies, emergency plans...all a good idea.
In the end we’re all going to end up the same, sooner or later. You got the best advice earlier on the thread about the REAL preparations that we need to make, the preparations that count for eternity. See to your salvation, tell those you love just how much you love them and then enjoy life.

A point I often make to those who endorse legalization of drugs is that people who are in the illegal drug trade are not people who want to deal drugs and that happen to be doing something illegal. They are first and foremost criminals. Criminals choose the high risk/high profit of doing something illegal rather than working 8-5.
You can’t legalize all drugs. These same criminals will simply push the drugs that are still illegal, or will illegally traffic the legalized drugs (which are sure to be very expensive) at a lower cost.
Or they will do as you say and turn to other crime.

Great food source, stomach palliative with antibiotic properties and a wonderful wound dressing.
I always shop at costco, so cases of green beans, corn, tuna, canned chicken, etc are already on hand. Just rotate your stock. Have some silver coins on hand (poor mans gold), have some gold if you can afford it. Have a plan, water source, heat, friendly like minded neighbors who are also well armed. It also depends on where you live. It’s very unlikely I’d have to displace. But if that were to present itself, I’d have some time to pack so no worries. Just have a plan and you’ll be fine.
Yeah! So would I! Anyone got a clue what the future holds? I’d hate to overinvest in canned dogfood. I mean when you get right down to it, it’s better than living off grass and tree bark, but I’d hate to use up my savings on barely edible canned food just because of some bad vibes...especially if there’s easy money to be made selling bunkers to gullible schmucks and speculating in canned dogfood.
Four years ago we sold 5 rifles now we have none.
We also have no gun permits.

The country will be bankrupt within 5 - 10 years. As you know, there are so many morally bankrupt people in this nation. Do you think it would be wise to not be prepared?
