"In a recent TV interview he demonstrated that he did not know the meaning of the word, German." Wait let's be fair here if someone had not told me the guy was saying the word German I would have not known what the hell he was talking about. His accent makes it sound like Jumen, what the hell is Jumen?

No that’s wrong —in fact you DO mean to be rude. And you’re not even original about it, as you’re simply piling on after the comments of some old, lame ex-liberal (as he describes himself).

“What is a Justin Beiber?”
I have no idea. I clicked on the video and he looks like the latest teen throb. But he clearly has no idea what the word “German” means. His response “we don’t say that in America.”

No, if I meant to be rude, you would know it.
Now, how about pointing out German on a map to me, Justin, because I can’t find it.

Justin Bieber = A sex symbol for teen girls, created by gay producers who assumed that because gay men find 16 year old ditsy boys who look like 13 year old girls attractive, that teen girls will too.

No, it’s fine.
I trust you know the difference between rude and not rude as well as the difference between German and Germany now.

"But the interviewer pointed at the WRITTEN word..!" How can you be sure? Did you see the word he pointed to? (wasn't apparent to me from the video) He could have pointed to another word or several words at the same time (depending on the font size and finger size) and the boy couldn't tell.
Being on a TV set during s shoot or in front of an audience can skew your comprehension especially when you get thrown off by something unsuspected like someone asking you about the word Jumen. What is a Jumen BTW?

There was an FR thread on that.
The man doing the interview was from New Zealand. He was pronouncing the word as ...
jammin.
Beiber was being polite in trying to correct the man.
