The editorial is silly.

The Google tribute line is more respectful than some stupid rebus would be.

News flash: they all do that. Some services are just more up front about it than others.

Yahoo! is a site better as to privacy.

Yahoo! nickels and dimes you to death if you want anything beyond the free services.

And Google's advertising is far less annoying.

If you go to their homepage, you'll see a nice American flag with a yellow ribbon and the following sentence: "Honoring those who have given their lives in service to our country."

In my opinion, it's a nice and respectful way for Google to mark the day.
