From his lower school years at St. Albans to his incomplete effort at Vanderbilt law school, Gore was often an underachiever...

Even though this article is a bit over ten years old, it's still accurate, a great piece of reporting, and deserves repeating. Too bad WaPo never even tried to do one like this about the Illegal.
To: DBCJR
All of this was known during the Clinton/Gore admin. The only new thing we learned during those 8 years is that Gore isn’t just stupid...he’s a headcase.
To: DBCJR
All Obama had to do is beat Gore’s grades. If Gore got a complete pass, Barack Obama surely would have. Makes you wonder how truly bad Obama’s grades must be.

Gore was often an underachiever...What's his I.Q.? How do we know he ever "achieved" anything?
He was given a free ride all his life because his father used his "power" to help Jr.

Not the brightest bulb in the room, but able to get in on the big scam, that’s Algore’s legacy. That makes him a modern day pop star and intellectual.

Gore arrived at Harvard with an impressive 1355 SAT score, 625 verbal and 730 math. The math score isn't bad, but that verbal isn't Ivy League level at that time.

I have to say there is no magazine in the weapon so there probably is no round in the chamber. Given that, I have always been taught never to point a firearm at something I did not intend to shoot.

We have heard this a bit now and then during the 2000 campaign, but none of them really made a big story in MSM. Well, they finally let it out 10 years later, the day Al and Tipper announce they are separating.
So, perhaps we will hear about 0bama’s grades in 2018?

Not silly, unless you think the information in the article is not relevant today, then that’s silly. At the time the article was written the information was nearly 30 years old. My bad? I don’t think so.

There is a place in the posting form for the published date. You should have used it. That’s why I said “Your bad” and not “my bad.”
And it is still news, as far as I’m concerned.

ROTFL! These folks are only now learning this? Doesn’t say much about the intelligence of the authors of this article, since all of this has been known since before Algore ran for President.

Hm...wonder when well see the Presidents grades.....Yea. You wonder if it ever occurred to the authors of this 2000 article to write a 2008 version. Then you wonder if they ever said to themselves "Hey, where are this guy's records? Maybe we should write an article on this guys hidden past and how dangerous it would be to elect somebody so intent on hiding their past as president."

Undistinguished scholastic record, prep through undergrad into grad school.
Undistinguished stint in the Army.
Avoided all courses in mathematics and logic throughout college despite very respectable test scores.
I know, it's not like those are colossal scores, and he wouldn't be the first one with good scores to struggle in college, but I just wonder: with the right connections, can you buy an SAT score suitable to get you into Hah-vud? (I'm thinking maybe it looks kinda bad for Hah-vud if you let someone in just because Daddy is a US Senator.)
