Just a fair warning since I know many people on this board also go over to GLP: The website Godlike Productions is a government run operation headed by the Tavistock Institute. The owner, Jason Lucas(^^Trinity^^), as well as many of the posters there are members of the US intelligence community and are collecting information on "subjects."
I doubt GLP is the only one. (I'm not insinuating that FR) is a government operation.)
Do you have evidence of this?
Are they affiliated in any way with Godlike ProducTions?

So — we have a conspiracy theory about a conspiracy theory forum? Who’d have thunk it?
I’d be surprised if there weren’t intelligence operatives on every large political forum on the web (right, left, foreign, domestic, or off the deep end) ... and, honestly, I don’t find it particularly problematic. It isn’t illegal to use public forums to keep an eye on the crazies that can pop up now and again.
Probably worth thinking about for those that non-chalantly throw the “armed revolution” talk around. People probably notice.

Some of Them also post anti-conspiracy threads on FR.
You’d be surprised how many people from over there are over here based on IP’s.
They’re the people who put the wrong numbers on the back of the stop sign on the corner.

Pretty sure the content isn’t what they’re looking at. Sometimes its a good idea to keep an eye on the “woo woos”.

Crazy people tend to beget crazy activities.
It is a public forum ... it is not illegal for intelligence or law enforcement to gather public information.

I figure any active political or conspiracy forum is on the list. I would honestly be very surprised if FR, DU, Kos, etc. were not all being monitored.
The accusation appears to be that GLP is actually an intelligence front rather than simply a monitored site. Sounds like a clever tactic to me.

One example, an “insider” from Germany who claimed to know that Germany was dropping the Euro for a return to National currency in reaction to the Greece debt crisis. The GPL rumor got thousands of hits and it seemed to effect the value of the Euro. according to Speigal (sp).
The site tries to incite: Patriots with fear of economic collapse and Leftist totalitarianism, Muslims with hatred of infidels, and anti-Jewish White racism. Blatant Marxist/Muslim anti-Jewish/Israel purely racist material runs freely.
It is truly an odd web-site, full of emotion and overly short on brains. It appeals to the new agers and atheists, too, through unified hatred towards obviously “Christian” stooges who too conveniently fall into the worst stereotypes of “stupid extremists.”
I feel I must wash my eyes after visiting the site, but also, I think suffering through it signals dark trends or efforts we should be paying attention to. Watching them spin hatred towards Israel in the recent confrontation was enlightening because I do not have the impulse to think like that. Knowing the enemy is very important for conservatives/constitutionalists.
The Candian government is doing the same on the web. North American government propaganda agents is now a part of the web. I think it is obvious by the total disconnect of government posters. The Candians are like government politically correct tsk, tsk, sloganeers.
GLP was shut down as of last night.
