Got out for a while, but I'm just going to have to accept that I can't take the heat anymore. 5 minutes in the Sun and I start getting light headed
The tomcat is Loki, he is very gentle but on the wild side. It's taken him 3 years to fully trust me. He weighs at least 20 pounds, not too much fat. He just showed up one day skinny and hungry. He flinched any time you moved your hands.

thank you! Lovely picture of Loki. Exactly like my mackerel-tabby tom. You were good to be patient with him.
Are you allergic to the sun?
Take care, we loveyour pictures.

Great kitty Swamp! That magnolia is beautiful as well. Don’t recall the magnolias blooming this late. Mine is still blooming and here it is mid June.
Hope you are well. Always look forward to your posts.

The cat was taken with my Sony and a Minolta 35-70 f4 lens. The flowers are from my Panasonic FZ30.
You can download a free EXIF reader and access the file data in the image. I use one by OPANDA software.

Thanks. The flowers look really nice. Consider a white reflector and/or some off-camera flash for extra depth and to clean up those shadows. I’ll share some concert pics later

We have had some very HOT days...not enough breeze from the ocean and then the crashing thunderstorms.
We were wishing for summer, last winter, when we had global cooling! LOL

Glad you’re able to get out even for a few, the magnolia is beautiful!!!
Wild cats that take time to build up a trust are the best. I had a female that took me months to even touch was the best cat I ever owned.
Stay cool.

Loki is a lucky cat to have a friend like you. Making friends with a wary cat is one of my favourite things.
