Not to mention a major film role with James Bond - and Bambi and Thumper - in “Diamonds Are Forever”. RIP....

If only Obama had been faster with health mandates... his sausage would have been regulated or outlawed, but he may have lived longer. /s
RIP, Jimmy.

I happen to have a box of his pancake wrapped sausage in the freezer right now. Similar to a corndog as they are on a stick.
Pop one in the micro for 60 sec, add a little syrup and you have a quick breakfast.
RIP

Jimmy Dean was from Plainview Texas. I lived there for two years as a kid. His brother Don Dean was our milkman. One day Jimmy rode along with Don on his route. My mom came out to get the milk for us 4 little kids, still in her house coat, and got to shake his hand and say howdy. That would have been about 1962 or 3. It was a big deal for small town flat land Texas. He was already a major star at that time.

Rest in peace Jimmy Dean.

****************************
In tribute:
1 pound of Jimmy Dean sausage (I prefer ‘hot’)
1 stick of Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar cheese.
4 cups of Bisquick or similar (I prefer Pioneer Brand)
Mix together by hand. Make into biscuits, bake for approximately 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
This news makes me sad, but what an interesting and positive life!
