President Obama gave his big oil-spill speech Tuesday night, and I sat rather dumbfounded just after it as MSNBC's Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews virtually trashed a guy they've tingled and swooned over since early 2008. Hearing so much reality from the formerly dazzled was quite akin, I thought, to witnessing a teenage breakup, where a girl suddenly has the epiphany and sees the character defects in Mr. Cool. Teen-romance epiphanies, where the once-infatuated person now sees clearly the cause-for-grave-concern flaws that her friends saw all along, usually occur just after some especially revealing event.
For our liberal friends, the oil spill seems to represent the impetus for epiphany.
So, are liberals breaking up with Obama?

How is BamBamKennedy a fraud? He is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. He suffers NOT from incompetency but arrogance and pride.

It sure does appear this gusher in the Gulf was 'good news' to BamBamKennedy. But even more bizarre than BamBamKennedy having to get 'show emotion' training the past month, has been the tamed subdued manner in which the dirtworshipers have reacted.
As much as the 'evil' BamBamKennedy in the process of taking advantage of, notice in Rev 12:12 the devil gets kicked out of heaven.... BamBamKennedy was hatched somewhere on this earth and the masses elected him to his lofty perch.... So we are not at Rev 12:12 yet!
Yes. liberals are breaking up with Obama because he is one, big liability now. It’s only been a few days, but the swagger has completely gone out this White House. The breakup is to make room for their presidential candidate. I think they’re going to dump him for real.

Maybe it is happening, but I do not see out of BamBamKennedy the least bit of concern regarding November's election. Now there are a few liberals across this nation that are playing that same game they have for decades of dressing themselves up in the sheep's clothing to win reelection. But that act is not just being replayed by liberal democrats.... I have never before seen lord McCain so dressed up in sheep's clothing than this election year.
There is really an eerie silence across this nation from the media and virtually all national elected politicians, over BamBamKennedy's gusher in the Gulf.
I have read and heard the majority of my life that we capitalists are about to use up all of Mother Earth's 'oil' and lo and behold there is 'oil' gushing out of her unlike anything seen to date.
And, these dirtworshipers who made an idol out of the vast frozen tundra of the north are stone cold silent.... as day in and day out the gusher in the Gulf demonstrates massive quantities of 'oil'.
The 'real' antichrist will play the role as being Christ, IF you love him, work for him he will show his grace and blessings. Very, very, very, religious and after this bunch almost everybody on this globe will be ready for a savior. Problem is the fake shows up first.
Perhaps you are correct that O feels no particular urgency; just a sense that he needs to keep pushing the ball forward.
His life seems to have been on a certain trajectory- it may be inconceivable to him that it could reverse, especially since he is in the right.
There does seem to be a lot of concern on that side of the tent, however.
I do agree with you that the incumbents are shrouding themselves in various skins so as to be inconspicuous.
We have enough oil to easily transition to the future. But, do we have enough time?
BamBam has a contract until 2012, and he has already said that he would be ok serving one term... BamBam has but a couple of specific agendas to complete and he will have accomplished what no other enemy of US has been allowed to accomplish.
Appears he prefers to golf and eat well and party more than anything else... He rules by hiring more government committees and commissions and czars. I doubt he is one bit pleased he had to take 'showing 'kick-ass' emotion' training these past few weeks. I would not be one bit surprised if he was not selected/elected with the caveat that he would be only a one term president. He can live like a king for the rest of his life and not have to lift a finger.

Yep. And, don't believe for a minute that the hard core left is abandoning Obamalamadingdong. They'll kiss and make up before November. He's guaranteed to throw 'em a bone. That's what their tantrum is all about. Watch and see.....
"Liberal friends" is an oxymoron.
No Way! He is their avatar and his administration the apotheosis of their agenda. Far more than Bush was for Republicans/ conservatives at any time, or even than Reagan was. He is to be hung around their necks ; he is their identity, no backing off. Every rebuttal to the Olberman ilk by a Republican/ conservative has to start, “That’s what you say now, but what did you say then?”
Let me put it to you this way, Keith— when Nixon was done, Bebe Rebozo was done.
