Taylor Swift headed to the Bahamas over the weekend for a show at the Atlantis resort on Saturday night. Before hitting the stage, Taylor found time that afternoon to slip into a retro polka-dot bikini and hit the beach with her friends.

well i guess you have a better idea of what body type fits different styles of bathing suits than i do, because i think she looks fine. it’s a cute, fun, retro looking suit and the granny panty comments seem to be mostly from leering men who think the less fabric the better. Gee, Taylor, the dirty old men don’t like your bathing suit. I am guessing that’s just fine with her.
A kid? C’mon, she’s 21. She’s not only not a kid, but she’s also past the subsequent age bracket, teenager. Sorry, but she’s just laughable in those photos.

I agree with the sentiment, but Swift turned 20 last December. In my book, she would no longer fit into the “teen” category.
oh ok, so she’s out of her teens, it’s time to go SLUTTY? she has a young, gawky, innocent look about her and i think the bathing suit fits her personality. her fanbase is still largely teen, btw.

It’s funny I was in Taiwan three years ago for business. It was sunday so I went to hotel pool, which was about the size of Texas.
Any way, there was this young Chinese lady in pool wearing a one piece that had “shorts” to mid-thigh. I am assuming she was being modest, but because of the way the swim costume was cut and her body type, it did the opposite.
There’s probably some gross ‘tats’ under that suit bottom. Just thinkin out loud.
I think the color is wrong for her fair skin tone. But it is a cute suit.
I agree with you! I think she looks fine and un-slutty...wish that would become a trend.
Taylor decided to choose what SHE wanted to wear to the beach — NOT what Hollywood or Cosmopolitan says to wear. GOOD for her. Like I saw somewhere else — “Miley is called a slut, and Taylor is called a prude” — GET OVER IT people. Let people be themselves! I think a healthy dose of modesty is a good thing.

so what is immodest or silly about taylor’s long lean body type and that style of suit? it’s perfectly normal other than the fact it’s not cut down below her pubic bone. it’s reminiscent of something marilyn monroe or others of that era might wear, though more curvaceous than taylor. you think it doesn’t fit her body type bc she has kind of a boyish build? what would you advise her to wear? i am honestly puzzled because other than looking decidedly NOT skanky, i can’t see what is wrong with this suit on her.
