Many FReepers need to learn how the World Wide Web and the Internet work. FR changed its static IP. It takes awhile for that to propogate through all DNS servers everywhere, which explains why some people are having better luck than others, some do better from work, etc. The Google thing works because of the way browsers cache IPs.

Windows people: learn how to run the command prompt and use ipconfig /flushdns. Mac people: there is an equivalent command. Google for it.

What will these FReepers do if there is REALLY a shutdown of the Web?

Tell us what to do when dns flush doesn’t work. (It didn’t for me, and I’m not the only one.)
