This is a failing grade for the 20th Century Fox film starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz on the first day of what will be its 5-day opening weekend. According to rival studios, a figure of $5+M would have been hopeful. But Fox announced just now that Knight and Day did only a nervous $3.8M. (Rival studios had it at $3.6M this morning "apparently not knowing that there was a data feed problem with one of the big circuits", Fox tells me.) "It's normally 5-times Wednesday for 5 days, but that's a number below even the most evil estimates," one rival studio exec emails me.

Not to mention the fact that the Cruises allow a three-year-old to wear high heels just like any other normal American family.
Tom and his wife are a weird-acting, spacy-looking couple that I don't care to enable with any ticket-buying at the movie theater.

Just my opinion on Diaz, but your eyes might be failing you!

She looks like Hanoi Jane there. Wonder what that writing says below the star.

This one will be in the bargain bins by Halloween.

I think it just wears on the public after a while, and why go see a movie of people who rag on corporations, yet benefit from corporations and live so lavishly in our faces, yet chastise the rest of us for raping the rest of the world.Well put. I especially hate the ones who carp on environmentalism and energy, and then make these monster movies that left a carbon-footprint during the filming and production process that Godzilla couldn't compete with.

Dare one also think that Diaz’s recent babbling about how having sex with another woman does not make her a lesbian might also have something to do with it.
If neither one is straight, why would a majority straight audience care about their chemistry, relationship etc.?

The movie execs who financed this movie are watching this very carefully in order to determine whether they will finance another Mission Impossible movie.

Really?!! The review I read (I mentioned earlier) that it started off good but stumbled in the second half. You don’t agree, then? My daughter and I were planning on seeing it till I read that review and then we changed our minds. We were really looking forward to seeing it, too. Now, I might change my mind back...I’ll base my decision on your answer! lol!

That’s because Diaz is a skeeve and Tommy Girl is gay. No one likes imposters, even if they’re actors.

I finally saw Valkyrie on cable, I thought Cruise was good in it, and it was a great film.
