Just got back from an entire day away!
Went to Wrightwood for breakfast ( San Bernadino Mountains) then drove to Silverwood lake, and on to Crestline ( I'm sure you who don't live in CA. are scratching your heads and saying " Where"??)...then back down out of the mountains and made a quick stop at Lowe's !
On to Wendy's to eat ( thanks Jaycee for reminding me I wanted Chili!)....even took in a Thrift Shop and then home. Isn't home the best place in the world!!
all in all a ten hour excursion!!

As memory recalls, isn’t Crestline up near or on the way to Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear? Very long story, but almost moved to that area in 1986, but it didn’t work out. I remember the 1st time I drove up that mountain by myself! I was so scared, but after time, finally got used to it! I remember one lady I had met, said she had lost three husbands on that road! HUM???
