I’ve been boycotting him and his movies ever since his drunken tirade against Jews a few years ago.

I am disgusted once again by Mel Gibson and disgusted by Freepers sympathizing with him. He is an ugly human, for whom nothing but contempt is deserved. So what if his face is appealing? He has chosen evil repeatedly, and he has used conservatives to make money for himself.
He’s bipolar, I’m sure of it. He is absolutely classic.
Having lived with someone with the problem, I can tell you they are REALLY difficult to deal with. And I can also tell you no matter what he says later, he doesn’t see anything wrong with what he says.
Think of a bipolar as someone who thinks with their emotions. Nothing gets repressed, because it’s “true”. Why wouldn’t he state the truth? It’s the rest of the world that’s crazy. And that makes him angry.
On a strictly moral note, he divorced his wife for a young thing, and now is upset she’s too pretty. I’m sure it makes perfect sense to him.
He’s just being honest with her. Why’s everyone so upset?

I think he’s just a mean nasty drunk. I’ve heard enough stories told by alcoholics to deduce this — he’d better get himself sorted out once and for all or he will be found in a gutter somewhere.

Only one minor point of contention with you: His face isn't appealing. He's aged badly, to put it mildly. But otherwise I agree.
It's funny, Mel once said in an interview that his wife Robin is a saint but that she was going to hell because she was Episcopalian and not Catholic. Seriously. All I could think when I heard that is the quote from Galatians, "God cannot be mocked." Mel apparently thinks He can be.

I can understand Gibson’s complaint. Anyone that would have Mel as a boyfriend, must have a pretty low standard. Hopefully, she’s seen the light.
