Irish Brown Bread; Easy & Delicious
Hot Cookin' ^ | 7/2/10 | Kelly Estes

Being part Irish, I love bread, and was happy to find a recipe for Irish brown bread... Despite my best efforts, my new cookbook got shelved until just recently, when I finally made sure I had all the needed ingredients to make the Irish brown bread.

The slightly sweet, part whole wheat, part oatmeal bread is delicious with a little butter and/or preserves (or underneath a little meat and gravy).

I made this Irish brown bread the other day, and then served it underneath an amazing chicken a la king casserole.

Just google guinness beef stew and you will get dozens of variations. My recipe was taken from the web but I can’t find it now, but I did print it for my cook book. It is really rich tasting.

Awesome! I’ll google it and print a couple out to try this fall when the weather cools here in Florida. I love that kind of thing (beef stew) on a cool fall/winter day!
