Veterans Affairs head blasts administration over hospital incident

The Democratic chairman of the House Veterans Affairs Committee lambasted the Obama administration over its handling of an incident at a St. Louis VA center in which more than 1,800 veterans were told they may have been exposed to HIV.

Filner criticized the administration for taking more than three months to send out the letters after it discovered the faulty safety precautions in March.

Hmm wonder what would happen if Obama's wife and kids were exposed to tainted blood and then told 3 months later, "Oh by the way you may have been infected with HIV/AIDS!" .. it was “disgraceful” that - Eric Shinseki did not know about the lapse until last week. Filner said the “only way you can get accountability is if there is someone who actually pays a price for this,” although he did not explicitly call for Shinseki to be fired.

ERIC SHINSEKI!! I wondered what happenned to that Clinton toady 'General'.

So now, in addition to collecting his fat pension as a 4 Star General, he's "Double Dipping" with another fat gubmint paycheck as Veterans Affairs Secretary. Now I thought that there was a LAW against that?₍₁₎₍₂₎

(1) It was during Reagan's first term as POTUS, (iirc), that the RATS raised a stink about retired military personnel "Double Dipping" from the gubmint. And I swore they passed a law against it.
(2) Contrary to leftist lies, Rummy didn't 'fire' Shinseki, though he should have on day one. Shinseki served his full term then retired as scheduled.
