Troubled Lindsay Lohan late Wednesday protested that her controversial obscene manicure "had nothing to do with court" -- as speculation mounted that the marking could lead to a separate charge for contempt.
At Tuesday's hearing, during which a sobbing Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail for drug and alcohol offenses, the movie star displayed a not-so-subtle message -- “f*** u” -- scrawled on her middle fingernail, made clearly visible thanks to photographers’ telephoto lenses.
Lohan's choice of nail design led to a sea of speculation into the starlet's true level of remorse and could lead to a contempt charge -- with the threat of up to five more days in jail -- if the judge felt so inclined.
“She could have an entire extra sentence heaped on top of her current one. If the judge were angry enough, it could run even consecutively," New York City Public Defender Stacy Schneider told FOXNews.com

I’ve never thought this was for the court. It does tell her general attitude.
She has such a sense of entitlement that it never occurs to her the court will pick up her messages.
According to Proverbs, the most foolish people of all are the ones that will not learn from wisdom.
Some have said that with this sentence and rehab, she may turn her life around.
After this incident, I have my doubts.
Of course this doesnt preclude me and her from having an affair.
Well, Robert Downy Jr. did turn his life around, but he DID show remorse. I think he even asked for jail, because he knew he had hit rock bottom.

When you are raised from a button with the idea that your crap doesn’t stink , and the rules others live by do not apply to you. It is an amazing reality when you discover that indeed those rules do apply.
A few days in jail will do her good, and if they don’t, well she was out of control when she was sentenced, she won’t be any more out of control after her sentence. Maybe the girls in the prison will help her out with that lesbian thing, she has, and perhaps her middle finger with the FU message will serve her in good stead.
As far as I am concerned she is just another Hollywood Skank ....

TMZ is reporting that Lohan called the Judge an effing b*tch during an emotional breakdown after the sentencing hearing.
I hate to see someone hit the skids as she, so much to live for, could do so much good but, not the case, took the wrong road of life.

I was listening to Shapiro last night. He defended Downey and Downey got two years in JAIL. Way above the guide lines. Shapiro was so mad at the judge that he did not speak to her for 3 years. When Downey got out he said it was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Lohan belongs to a very identifiable sub-set of LI culture...the stupid Irish girl from Suffolk County. We’ve got thousands of them.
Someone needs to tell her that the U.N. doesn’t run things here.
