While the world won't really know what team LeBron James(notes) is going to play for next season before he officially announces it this evening, Newsday is feeling pretty good about what its sources are saying: James will join Dwyane Wade(notes) and Chris Bosh(notes) with the Miami Heat.

I don’t really care. I just hope he doesn’t become another NBA player crime statistic.
I don’t care where he goes as long as he stays in the Eastern Conference. Kobe v LeBron in the finals would be interesting.
I don’t care. I just want him to get it over with so that we can get back to talking about Lindsay Lohan.
I’m with you in the department of just one more thing I could care less about. Basketball could fall off the face of the earth and I wouldn’t know it. If he can make a billion on his talent, then good for him. I know that I will not be contributing to it.
I hope he goes to Miami since he will be able to avoid paying $9 million in state taxes to the state of NY if he had gone to the Nets/Knicks.
The point is, if LeBron goes to Miami, how many basketballs will they need?
David Stern has always followed the ‘there is no bad publicity’ rule but this farce has exposed the NBA as a spent force. Their off-season is more interesting than their games (apparently).
James may end up being the best player to never win a championship and all he will have to do is look in the mirror to see why.
If LJ gets $100 Million
$55 Million Federal Govt
$40 Million Lebron James
$5 Million his agent
LOL, I think you have a point. Greg Odom was supposed to be the next Shaq and he has never produced.
It’s basketball for God’s sake. Who gives a flying rat’s ass where “LeBron” James signs.
September can’t get here soon enough so that we can get back to real sports.
That’s what happens when you go the University of Ohio State.
Watch LeBron go to the Clippers.
I am sick of this guy... I am sick of the constant news reports calling him king... there is only ONE KING... HE is known as JESUS.
LLS
FWIW, Newsday (a disgusting, pro-illegal alien, anti-American rag) is owned by Cablevision, which owns the Knicks.
Given that, I tend to doubt the Snoozeday reporter would report bad news for the Knicks, unless he was very confident in his information.
You could be right. While Lebron, Wade and Bosh would be one of the greatest trios in NBA history, chemistry might be a problem.
They are all fairly unselfish players, but James and Wade are both used to having the ball a lot and having being the center of the offense. Also, neither of them is a consistent outside shooter, though I imagine they will be able to find a player or two to fill that role.
Don’t get me wrong, they could dominate the NBA, but signing all 3 will not guarantee a title.
I wonder if Obama thinks LeBron is making too much money?
