Newt may be the most brilliant man in the political arena ... but he has too much self-imposed baggage going back 15 years. He needs to STFU and let us forget.

Newt is by far our best spokesman, too bad there is so much baggage. Not just that, but he is imperfect, so the haters bring him down.
Newt should help the Republicans come up with a concise platform to run on and take back the house. Like the contract with America.
He would not be a good candidate for President, so I hope he gets over it, and gets on with winning the house and maybe a bunch of senate seats too.
Newt made me want to barf tonight. Was it an interview with O’Reilly or Hannity, where he was saying that we all missed what Obama was really standing for, when he was running. HUH? I don’t have the connections that Gingrich has, but I knew all about Obama and where he was heading just from reading FR. The information gathered here spelled out very clearly where this guy was coming from, and where he was heading. It is because of people like Newt, who didn’t have a clue, that has helped cause this disaster we find ourselves in.
You’ve got to be joking. So he is sitting down for a picture with Pelosi...how exactly is that “career suicide”?
Has everyone forgotten that he supported that super liberal Dede Scozzafava in NY? Newt is an opportunist. He would say whatever he thinks it would take to promote Newt. The man has no principles.
He is not fit to serve, but he can still be useful. I am not advocating that he serve, just that pick his brain so to speak to come up with something coherent, since the election is not far away, and the results so far are underwhelming as far as organization goes.
I agree totally, but he can still be useful. Someone should pick his brain, and come up with a coherent organized strategy.
