Mel Gibson's career may not be able to recover from this one.
Confirming rumors that have swirled for the last week, RadarOnline.com posted a two minute audio clip Friday in which Gibson unleashes a horrific, profanity-laced tirade against his former lover Oksana Grigorieva.
In the audio recording, Gibson is heard exploding at his ex, who is also the mother of his 8-month-old daughter.
First he attacks her for having breast implants, and escalates his verbal assaults from there....

I’m getting the impression that she’s very provocative.
I fail to see the racial “slur”, and I see no reason for Mel to loose a career, just because he said “they look like whores”.
The guy had it all,and we just might watch it come apart right in front of us.
Hmmmmmmm? She recorded them, I assume? Then who released them?
Well...she says she didn’t release the tape. Who else could have? I’m probably not feeling the level of sympathy for this woman that I’m supposed to be feeling. (not excusing MG either, BTW)

Folks who get too deep into this are pretty much like those who get a laugh when they tip over a wheelchair and the rider falls out helplessly on the ground.
This is one very strange woman.
So, what do they call people who laugh at people with bi-polar disorder?
The public should not have access to the words he said in private.
People say a lot of very hatful things, they don’t necessarily mean, when they are angry, hurt, otherwise emotionally charged or drunk.
Such statements may be offensive and wrong, but just being offensive and distasteful ~ doesn’t make them publicly owned.
Mel has significant problems in his life, but uttering the damn n-—— word, in private, is not one of them.
Usually the audience (if the bi-polar person is funny, and on a high).
At the rate Mel’s going, he’ll have Obama, Clinton, and the NYTimes praising him as a champion of civil rights. If he drops the N-bomb a few more times, he’ll be right up there with Robert Byrd and his interview with Tony Snow.
Their marriage is none of my business and I don’t care what celebrities say or think about each other. But there’s little doubt that Mel Gibson is quite willing to drop racial slurs in his angry rants (which I’m sure he will be most sorry about, most apologetic, and “regret if his comments offended anyone”.
They’re people, they screw up just like the rest of us. Just stop putting them on pedestals and expecting we ought to care what they say or think - about anything. Mel Gibson is no better than any other jerk who calls his wife filthy names and refers to N-words raping her. Why should he be?

I feel no sympathy for her at all. She’s a home wrecker and is now paying the consequence.
I may get blasted for this, but it seems to me that Mel has been under attack by his own demons since The Passion of the Christ came out. I just think that if you step out for God like that that Satan really wants to lambast you, destroy you and will use your own human faults, frailties, illnesses to do it. I think that’s what we’re seeing. That was one powerful film that touched a lot of people made by a flawed human being. Pray for Mel.
Mel should have gotten Timothy Dalton’s advise before he hooked up with her. She was with Dalton for years and they have a son, but I saw a news item in a Brit newspaper a few years ago that Dalton ended the relationship and kicked her out of the house when he found she was cheating on him with some Swedish millionaire. I’m not too impressed with her, reading her background. Seems like she goes after anyone with a big bank account.

I’m not going to blast you at all ... he flat out said this would happen both during and after production of “The Passion of the Christ”. Everyone thought he was a paranoid maniac. While he may be a paranoid maniac over other things, he was absolutely right that idiots would be out to get him. If I am not mistaken, they even went and attacked his father right before the movie was released.
Then again, maybe I need a tinfoil hat. I just find it amazing that anything nuts Mel Gibson does gets reported in a nanosecond. Hillary Clinton guns an ashtray at someone and/or rants about “the Jews” it is a minor story and/or “rumor”.

But I was thinking more in the spiritual realm. He stepped out and made this film, which touched a lot of people with the message of Christ and any time you step out like that Satan is only too glad to try to knock the legs out from under you. I think Mel has forgotten the spiritual and that is a dangerous thing.
I’d bet Mel hasn’t hit it since the pregnancy test strip turned blue.
Ox has access to a recording studio and mixing equipment. Too late for the ‘court of public opinion’, but let’s do some forensics on the tapes, howabout it?

In the audio tape, Mel does sound very cruel toward his wife. I wonder if he had been drinking too much? A shame - he is SUCH a talented man!

Let me get this straight — the William Morris Agency has reportedly dropped Mel Gibson as a client because he used the “N-word” in an unhinged privately recorded rant, but William Morris continues to represent the likes of P. Diddy, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, 50 Cent, and many more, who broadcast the same awful word to millions — daily, unabashedly and continually?
Gotta love Hollywood.

Again, Gibson said any number of extremely offensive things in his surreptitiously recorded private phone conversation with his former girl friend, including telling her that with the way she dressed she deserved to be gang raped. But the thing that got him in trouble, the thing that has all the tongues wagging, the thing that has scandalized the world, was his use of the word “niggers.” Some of the news stories even said that Gibson punched his ex-mistress in the mouth and broke her two front upper teeth. Yet in every story in which that charge has appeared, it is way down in the article, as a distant afterthought compared to the only news that really matters—his use of the “N” word. Is any further proof needed that the worst crime in liberal society—worse than disgusting invective, worse than wishing for a woman to be gang-raped, worse than punching a woman in the mouth—is for a white person to say anything discriminatory about black people?

Gibson has been attacked at every opportunity in the MSM since The Passion of the Christ.
That a person who makes his living in drama, who is intelligent enough to put together a rant and performer enough to deliver it, is front page news is more a comment on the commentators than the actor.
Add high emotion and alcohol, mix well, and serve on tape.
Small wonder people in the crosshairs of the paparazzi have such fouled up lives, when they can't so much as break wind without blowing the dust off some jerk's camera lens. There aren't many people out there who could stand such constant scrutiny, and all the good or bad ends up on the cutting room floor, it just depends on who is doing the editing and what they want to produce as a reaction from the public.
I do not condone a man hitting a woman, but as for the rest, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Has he really been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder by a psychiatrist? For the last few years I have been diagnosing him as having bi-polar disorder. I am not a psychiatrist, I just play one on the internet.
