The former Freeland High School teacher charged in connection to having a sexual relationship with a student appeared in the Midland County District Court this afternoon to be arraigned on eight charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Marcie Lynn Rousseau, 33, Freeland, was arraigned by Judge Stephen P. Carras, who set bond at $80,000 cash or surety. Other bond conditions are no contact with the victim or children under the age of 18 who are not related to her unless the youngsters parents are present and no use of the Internet social networking website FaceBook. She is represented by Saginaw attorney James A. Brisbois Jr.
Rousseau stood mute to the charges, and the court will enter a plea of not guilty for her.
The charges against her were filed in connection with a Tittabasassee Township Police investigation into allegations that she had a sexual relationship with a student, who was 16 when the relationship began in May of 2009 and is now 17.
Midland County Assistant Prosecutor Angelina Scarpelli said that two other victims have been identified, and those relationships occurred in 2002 and 2006. The investigation into the case continues, she added.
Rousseau was arraigned Monday on 21 counts in Saginaw County. Of those, 15 counts of are third-degree criminal sexual conduct and six counts are of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Bond in the Saginaw County case is set at $250,000 and was posted Monday night by a bondsman.
Rousseau taught at Freeland for nine years. On Feb. 16, she was placed on administrative leave from the district pending the outcome of a police investigation into her relationship with a student. Rousseau resigned from her teaching position effective June 16.
Guilty as Hell!

I'm gonna guess that she buffs pretty nicely.
Mmmmm.........need more evidence......a non mug shot photo
two observances - it doesn’t mention the gender of the children, adn the second: “Tittabasassee Township ?”
No wonder teaching abstinence to students doesn’t work. The teachers are encouraging the students to “fail”.
