This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about this, because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
Or are you waiting for Somebody Else to do what Everybody should?

There are still plenty of folks in these parts (No. CA) with f’in Kerry bumper stickers on their cars! I do a double take on those.
Best way to remove those pesky obama stickers, pull off as much as you can by hand or carefully use a plastic spatula (I’m sure Spatula City would have something suitable :-) ) NEVER use a metal blade as it would easily damage the clear coat and the paint beneath it. Any of the sticky goo that remains can easily be cleaned off with a non-abrasive, clear coat safe rubbing compound, then apply wax over the area and tada! The mistake will vanish without a trace. There’s not too many cars around my neck of the woods in Orange Cty, NY with those silly stickers anymore, other than an occasional Prius or Subaru, usually with Mass. plates zipping back and forth on I-84. I’m brandishing an image of Calvin peeing on 0bama on the back window of my Cobalt (it’s an 07, pre Gov’t Motors). Any pasty faced lib or wanna-be panther gives me sh*t about it, in the words of Mr. T “I pity the fool!!”
Fortunately, a bunch of us were smart enough never to support Obama to begin with.

I’d deep in Kool-Aid land( Mass ). After the election every third car had a Obama sticker, it seemed. Now? One in fifty. I’ve never seen such high, and fast sticker removal rate.
Well, we live in visual porn/image age. Obama, young, attractive, articulate. McCain, elderly, ugly, stuttering like your senile grandfather.
So, right there Mr. Unicorn and Skittles picked up 20 percent. Remember the airplane vids of the females getting all gooey over Obama putting his leg up on the armrest forward of them?
Obama got the majority of women and gays just on looks, and of course gays for....well...being so ‘Metro’.
