Yes, something to that effect. Gunbroker came up, but not much else useful. This country is headed down the toilet really fast now — almost all gun stuff is disappearing. Looks like the government, radicals who want guns to disappear are winning.

I too like CDNN although they don’t have Llama mags right now. They often have Mec-Gar at great prices and those mags are equal to or better than original manufacturers mags.
As soon as the ban expired, I ordered maybe a dozen or more Browning Hi-Power mags. The best ones are Mec-Gar, Argentine Military and Asian Military. I bought a couple of South African ones because of the price but don’t care for them. They have functioned OK so far but are really hard to load due to an extremely stiff spring.

I found ammoclip, gunclip, midway, cabelas, gunbroker, cheaper than dirt. You shouldn’t have a problem finding what you want. I don’t think they are winning, we have gun shows around here at least every month, and plenty of places to shoot and purchase.

Pro-Mag does seem to have a good reputation. The one brand which I personally would stay away from is U.S.A. They look cheap and are of poor quality. Also malfunction in a gun which never jams with any other mag. I bought two of them during the ban as they were the only ones I could find.
After I got some good quality ones, I literally took a hammer to the U.S.A. ones.

Those kind of magazines. I thought, "Nobody reads that stuff anymore. They're all too commercial."

I have had good and bad luck with Sportsman’s Guide. At first I bought several items with no problem then had a series of defective items including some binoculars. They were inexpensive but had BaK4 prisms, so I thought they had to be OK. I ordered 6 various ones and I think 4 of them were defective.
The two which were not defective did indeed turn out to be decent. Not in the same class as Zeiss or Swarovski but completely usable.
I later ordered another brand and it was defective too. I finally just gave up on them.

I e-mailed and check on that one. Won't fit. I am looking specifically for the following:
8-round double stack for Minimax II .45 subcompact. It will not take the 10-round magazine is what my sources are telling me.
Tnx ... Mene

This is not a simple problem. The mags for this specific gun are a bit tough to find. However, I’ll find one. Just need one.

I’m seeing them for 7 rounds, just like the Colt. You’re sure it’s a 6 rounder? Cause it looks like you might be out of luck on that one.

I wonder if they’re selling mfgrs seconds or units that are refurbished after being returned under warranty and not telling the customers. Maybe they get a really good deal on them. That would explain the extremely high incidence of faulty stuff.
