Just saw this film. Excellent review in World Magazine and Sundance awards. That is a combo that always work. Not an uplifing movie, but one comes out with new eyes.
Worthwhile, but it is not a feel-good film. Definitely a tragedy.
Was going to wait until it came out on video. Sounded interesting.
I’ve read 2 rave reviews. I would really like to see this film.
We saw it, after reading the book. Thankful that I didn’t grow up there.
All the reviews I’ve seen have been great but I don’t think it’s opened around here. My husband asked what it was about and I said, Ozark girl tries to save the farm, but dark.
He rolled his eyes at me but since he’s chosen the last few movies, it’s my turn.
I had to find it on the net. It opened at the local Art House. Only here a couple of days.
Sounds like the title of a porno.
Looks really good, different. Unfortunately, it’s not playing around here and probably never will. I’ll have to rent it.
The soundtrack seemed pretty good, too.
Thanks for the recommendation. Will view it when it comes out on DVD. For those who haven’t seen “Moon”, I highly recommend it. It is not your typical scifi and will leave you a bit drained at the end. Do not watch the trailer on YouTube. They put a spoiler in it.
Sounds good.
I put it on my Amazon wish list for when it’s available in DVD
I started to watch “Moon”—I could’t stand it, after about 45 mintues I stopped watching it.
I also hated “2001” and “Apocalypse Now.”
I like sci fi too.
Looks interesting.
I will look for MOON.
