It's the first time a woman naked from the waist up has ever initiated a conversation with me at a swimming pool — well, not counting my daughters when they were toddlers.
"Hi," said this fantastically caramel-tanned person, leaning over to put what I'm going to guess were a couple of 38DDs about a foot from my face. "I'm Sara."
We were sitting next to each other at the aptly named Bare, the adults-only pool at The Mirage Resort and Casino.
Not only was Sara topless — oh, sorry, we're calling it "European style" now — but she was wearing a bathing suit bottom that can best be described as something you might tie around your finger to remind yourself you aren't wearing a top.

Not only has Sin City gone adults-only at many of the hotel swimming holes, they've pushed nightlife into what they're terming "daylife," creating a party atmosphere for at least one pool on each property, with many of them charging an entrance fee and pushing the noise and dress code limits with late-afternoon, DJ-led pool parties and servers and guests wearing as little as they can get away with.

When I lived out west people would complain about the oil around the edges of lake mead. We would tell the tourists it was from all the ‘make-up’ being washed off the show girls early in the mornings.
There was a cable TV show about some vegas casino’s pool parties. The thing that struck me most was how stupid and wastefull the customers were, and how stupid and greedy the scantily-clad server chicks were.

It might not be as glamorous as some think. I can just see a few “planted” females in the pool to draw in customers. They might not like what comes around.
but then I’ve never understood getting all hot & bothered if there’s nothing you can do about it!! ie strip clubs and places like this. It will only take one of them getting touched and it will be all over.
One of the “servers” chased a customer out into the parking lot because her tip was less than 20%.

What IS the fascination with seeing other people naked? LOL I’m serious I just don’t get it. Okay, I get it in ONE sense, but not in the sense of wanting a half naked woman to serve you orange juice or thinking “Hmm I think I’ll go for a swim but I want to be surrounded by naked people in the pool” or I need to know what the weather will be like tomorrow but I want a naked person to tell me!

As one who routinely spends several days a week at the gym and locker room, let me say this clearly: “Cover up, please!”
The pools hire young women to sit around the pool. Many are strippers in their “day” job.
Funny thing about this story. Clark County has begun cracking down on the topless pools after a big prostitution bust at Rio last year. They put new rules into place banning topless pools from having parties or live entertainment.

My few experiences seeing a clothing optional beach were disappointing. The clientele were either women you would not want to see nude or gay guys strutting their stuff. One of my buddies commented that if the naked gay guys were walking backward they were “trolling”.

Yeah same here, and I don’t get the women who say they don’t care if their guy goes to strip clubs cuz after all they are coming home to them. Um, isn’t that kinda like being used? I mean come on, the only reason they ARE coming home to have sex with you at that point is because some other chick turned them on but won’t put out Lol.
