Rachel Wade has been found guilty of Murder in the Second Degree of Sarah Ludemann in a teen love triangle murder case that drew national headlines. Wade broke down crying when the Florida jury read the guilty verdict. She will be sentenced on September 3.
Prosecutor Wesley Dicus described the violent stabbing that actually bent the knife.
"You saw the blade on that knife, it's bent with enough force to rip through not just skin, not just the fatty tissue of Sarah Ludemann's breasts, not just her muscle, but her rib bone, her lung and ultimately her heart," Dicus said.
"Common sense tells you, you don't plunge a knife into someone else's chest unless you don't care," he continued.
Defense attorney Jay Hebert claims Wade acted in self-defense. Hebert says on the night of the murder, Ludemann and her friends went "jump" Rachel and that it was Sarah, not Rachel, who started the fatal fight.
Wade and Ludemann were both dating Josh Camacho in a dramatic love triangle that lasted for months. There were several confrontations between the teen girls via phone calls, text messages and occasionally in public.
Friends say Josh encourage the fighting and told the girls, "If you love me, you'll fight for me." Camacho is not currently charged with a crime.
Teen love triangles that lead to violence are reportedly on the rise in the US.

Nothing that was deserved, but the so-called bad boy has always appealed to many girls of that age. It sounds like this particular creep was of a mind to “turn out” these girls much in the same way a pimp does - i.e. “If you love me, you’ll fight for me.”

Well these two seem to have been the typical teen girl today doesn’t it (at least the ones I see), welders’ googles, the same cloned look as every other girl and going after the metrosexual girly man, what can one say, seems a lot of girls today don’t have their heads on straight... unfortunately one of them paid with their life this time.
I don’t have an answer for you. It constantly amazes me how often I see an attractive young girl with a guy who looks to be a real loser.

These aren’t the first white girls to go crazy over some guy. You must not watch Lifetime or WE TV; they’ve got plenty of cases of white people going crazy over white people all of the time. No need to bring race into it.
People have murdered over ‘love’ since the beginning of time, from so-called good families and from bad families. I abhor ghetto culture as much as the next FReeper, but you don’t need ghetto culture to do this kind of thing.
