Once it cools off, going to start training my Molly to do tricks. Maybe I should teach her to clean the house.
My guy knows I like that dog face and uses it when he thinks he is in trouble.
He is best buds with every human he meets unless he gets a vibe from me and then its raised hackles and a demonstration of willingness to take action.
He and the grandson roll around and wrestle on the floor, my guy's tail wagging a happy drum beat the whole time.
The cats groom him and sleep with him like he is some oversized member of their feline tribe instead of a traditional enemy.
That is the only problem I am having with my pup. The cats hate her. If they are out of their room, they launch themselves at the dog and she thinks they want to play. My husband was pissed enough the other night to make kibble out of those cats when they attacked him, because he was moving the dog. Trying to figure out how to overcome this, since the dog is not going and I don’t want the cats killed (by my husband, not the dog). I am thinking of just putting the cats in crates and having them hiss and growl at the dog until they get over themselves.
