A new twist in the continuing Palin family saga. Today RadarOnline.com reports that Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston’s engagement is in trouble because Bristol Palin is “heartbroken” with the news that Johnston may have gotten his former flame, Lanesia Garcia, pregnant. This comes after the National Enquirer initially reported that Garcia might be pregnant with Levi’s child.
But in an exclusive interview with The Daily Beast 19-year-old Lanesia Garcia says Levi Johnston is not the father of her unborn baby.
“I just want things to be dropped and get the truth out there. He’s not the father and that’s what needs to be said because there is no way he is,” Garcia said in an interview from the coffee shop where she works in Wasilla.

A sure sign that Palin is a political powerhouse. Wait until after November. How much do you want to bet Palin receives wall-to-wall coverage on when she's going to announce? With pundits predicting and throwing out dates. It'll be the equivalent of the LeBron James circus.
I wonder if Palin should have a long talk with her about what is going on in her life. It sounds like Bristol needs an intervention and a long family conference. Or Todd. Either way, she needs to have someone get her under a wing and into something constructive. And Levi needs to be shoved out and kept from contacting her. I know Bristol is an adult, but there is a kid that needs to be considered and there’s no reason for Tripp to have his needs ignored and his future home environment potentially destabilized by an irresponsible mother.
I think Palin needs to stop doing talk show/blog circuits and take care of the family mess that’s being made. This isn’t just about Bristol, it’s about a child whose mother is on the verge of making a damaging home environment for her son. If she marries Levi and they have a volatile home environment, Tripp will be the one to suffer. He’s the most important factor and Palin doesn’t need her daughter turning the family into a sideshow.
Levi Johnston is a left wing sack of dung. This thing is only slightly higher on genetic tree than a deadly virus. He can’t help being what he is.
Bristol, on the other hand, has no excuse. She should have known better than to go any where near these vermin.

My husband knew this guy who had two out of wedlock kids by different women. He got married, his wife had triplets. They were divorced a year later.
All of them were after him for child support. The guy spent all his time trying to make payments.

Instead of an apology the press runs with “a new twist in the continuing Palin family saga”.

One way to piss anyone off is to have their parents try to meddle in their lives after they reach age of consent.
If Sarah wants to risk the change of never seeing her daughter and grandson again, interfering in their lives is a sure way to do it.

I agree 100%. If he wants to see the kid, they can meet halfway somewhere at a McDonalds to trade for the weekend. Bristol doesn’t even need his money. She just needs to get him out of that family’s life. IMHO. Are there no other guys in Alaska that will respect Bristol and this family? Enough is enough already.

I don’t think this thread if full of idiots. If you were a young man/ lady and your mother has the chance to run for POTUS, would you behave like this. I partially blame the media(ok, more than partial). But Bristol has gone beyond acting like “a regular kid”. This is borderline trailer trash stuff. She needs to understand the unique oosition her mother is in. This isn’t Jersey Shore.

I think Bristol needs to go through some therapy and get her head straightened out. I think Bristol could have had a decent guy, but hooked up with this jerk. I see it all the time, decent women going after these jerks because the decent ones are too ‘boring’ and then after messing up their lives, trying to find a decent guy who got snapped up by someone who wasn’t looking for a jerk. Why should a nice enough guy get involved with someone who is so mixed up right now?
Right now I think she needs boot camp and therapy, not Levi. She is becoming not so different from all those other female idiots who are running around with these idiots, are irresponsible enough to get knocked up no less, and then people think that she deserves a decent guy? Bristol should be thinking about a career, job skills, and building a stable home environment for her son.

It will be the most widely watched and covered announcement in American History. The publicity it will generate and the replay of the announcement in bits and pieces would cost a candidate 20-30 million dollars, if the ad time had to be purchased.
Does anyone remember Hillary’s announcement or Obama’s? I remember Reagan’s, but only becasue I am a Reagan fanatic. It was not watched all that widely back in 1979.
