Sometimes one can really tell a lot about a book by it's cover, like the inability to make good decisions.

What do you think about very overweight people?

That was quick!

I think that they need help and hope they seek it. That there are things that they can do about it if they want to. If they choose to do nothing that is their business.

They also don't look good in spandex.

See, I knew we'd finally come up with something we can agree on!

And why in god’s name would you go spend $300 at a store you detest in the first place?

That is precisely what I was wondering. I basically scanned the story, looking for some unique angle, such as that being in the presence of so much Hobbit food and so many granola people had reprogrammed his brain or something.

No offence to the person who posted this article, but this was a fairly pointless story.

and those stupid "Coexist" bumper stickers with all those religious symbols forming the word (every religion except Christianity it would seem).

The "t" at the end is a cross. Of course the Islamic supremacist crescent is "first".

If they spelled it TOLERANCE, the "T" could be first and the "C" near the end. I'd suggest adding an Enron "E" at the very end because (A)there were plenty of employees and investors who lost their shirts because of the corruption of some so we cannot impune all who worked them (show them SOME tolerance) and (B)who are we to condemn sinners (especially when Ken Lay's hometown is home to one of the largest gay pride parades with public sex rampant on the parade route).

But I digress.

This will be the last time my wife ever has me do the grocery shopping again, I guarantee it!

Such techniques can also be applied to permanently get out of drawing laundry duty...

That was a good read. I pass a Whole Foods on my way to the Walmart. I’ve been curious to stop in.

True story - my oldest daughter talked me in to going with her to Whole Foods last week. The only thing I bought was a couple of ready to eat Indian dishes I can't find elsewhere and some Garam Masala spice for a total of $8. I did alot of comparison shopping while I was in there. I found the exact same box of Cascadian Farm Organic Granola cereal for $4.23 that I get at Wal-Mart for $3.00. I came away understanding that vanity comes with a steep mark-up.

BTW, I pick up my milk, eggs, butter, and bread at Whole Foods. Those are priced equal or better than at my local grocery stores. And my local Whole Foods is the flagship on Lamar in Austin... an absolute dream of a store. Plus... John Mackey ROCKS. I l-o-v-e him.

Oh, my... I guess I'd better take the PCB (Panama City Beach) oval off my Camry...

Headed out right now to take the LA (Lower Alabama) sticker off my F-250 Diesel! ;^)

You are hilarious!

I swore off Whole Foods when the gender challenged checker made some wise cracks about my desire plastic bags.

Little plick was a complete tool so I bagged my own groceries and told his remark cost the company a customer forever.

Freakin’, tree huggin’, nature nazi. Buh Bye.

Too bad you don’t have a ping list. These stories about Whole Fools and Crapplebee’s were funny and just a what guy thinks sometimes.

Post on.
