The 18 year old standard applies only when a federal law if violated, such as taking a minor across state lines for the purpose of committing illegal acts.
Most computer related crimes are considered under Federal laws because the communication most likely crossed state lines, BTW.
The list of crimes sex travelers can commit is very specific. I just didn’t post them all. I believe that someone else posted a link(somewhere on the first page of posts) to the justice department page that goes right to the sexual trafficking page which has much more info.
Some states here in the US permits an older person to have sex with a person as young as 16 like in Indiana. In Colorado, up until 10 years ago, it was legal for a 50 year old to have sex with a 15 year old ! I think it was changed to where age of consent became 18 with a 4 year lookback with a minimum of 16 if the older person was withing 4 years like a 20 year old can legally have sex with a 16 year old. Don’t know the exact law though.

Unfortunately, this man is just the tip on the iceberg when it comes to the homo-sexual “community.”
