Update:Police released information Tuesday afternoon saying Rafael Garcia may have fired at least one round from a weapon during this mornings harrowing domestic incident.
Police also said that Garcia is a deputy U.S. Marshal, assigned to New Jersey.
The victim today is described as Garcias 44-year-old girlfriend. Her injuries are non life-threatening.
Garcia has been charged with first-degree assault, first-degree criminal attempt to commit assault and criminal attempt to commit assault on a police officer. Garcia is being held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

One person is in custody after a violent domestic dispute outside the Heather Ridge condos at about 11 a.m. today.
Police said they received several 911 calls reporting that a man was chasing a woman outside the condos.
People were screaming for help, according to the initial radio dispatch.

Police said Rafael Garcia, 41, of New Jersey, struck the woman with his car, then rammed a police cruiser as he attempted to flee.

Garcia is also accused of displaying at least one firearm during his encounter with the woman.
Police seized two weapons from the scene.
The woman suffered a laceration to her leg. She was taken to an area hospital. The extent of her injuries are not known.
Police are trying to determine if a gun was fired during the incident.
Charges against Garcia are pending.

I’d check his immigration status, his behavior is suspiciously like a misbehaved illegal from across the southern border. I’d say I’d be positive he was if he was driving drunk.
If so, they will just have to let him go so he can kill someone else. Or maybe three or four this time. After all, it’s only fair. /SARC
