U.S. President Barack Obama greets employees as he tours the Ford Motor Company Chicago Assembly Plant August 5, 2010. Obama used the visit to highlight the turnaround in the U.S. motor vehicle manufacturing sector in the past year

U.S. President Barack Obama sits takes a look at electric cars as he attends the groundbreaking of a factory for Compact Power Inc. in Holland, Michigan July 15, 2010. The completed factory will employ more than 300 workers to produce batteries for General Motors Co.'s Chevrolet Volt and Ford Motor Co.'s Focus Electric vehicles.

Has Ford gone bad too. DAMMIT!

Blood sucking UAW workers

Prez: “So, you say that THIS round thing here is called a ‘steering wheel?’ Were any steers harmed in its manufacture?”
I can see why the union folks LOVE Baraq.
They came out of the GM/Chrysler bankruptcy nearly unscathed.
After 2012 it may be a different story if the lameduck congress can’t pass “card check”. That was the key to crippling the transplants with the same union deals that F/GM/C had. Otherwise the UAW plants still die in the long term due to competition.
And still cheaper than a Volt.

What I'd LIKE to say here differs from what I WOULD caption. So my caption shall read: "Some of 0bama's most staunch supporters."
Liberal Union workers in Obama's home town. This is a good reminder of some things. One is that no matter how much we might loath him Obama has a death grip on about 30% of the voting population. The other thing it reminds us is that Union tools are just happy slaves.
Always remember that the Reuther brothers, UAW founders, learned their techniques in Russia.
a quote:
“the atmosphere of freedom and security, shop meetings with their proletarian industrial democracy; all these things make an inspiring contrast to what we know as Ford wage slaves in Detroit. What we have experienced here has reeducated us along new and more practical lines.”
I will never buy a new car again...
If we're talking about those who would hop off a cliff for 0bama, I'd revise that figure upward to 40%. Between that and whomever else he can bamboozle into staying the hopenchange course, I'd estimate his guaranteed support level will be about 48-49% in 2012.
Ford. How could you? Ford has dropped in my opinion. You play footsie with barry and it is the last ford that I will ever buy.

"I .. look .. MAHVELOUS!"
Thanks just the same but I’ll stick with Toyota and Honda.

Speaking of Harlem Globetrotters, when does beau Michelle get back from her latest R&R?
Honda and BMW for this house. I won’t buy sheesh made by these commie loving thugs.
From your lips to the ears of whoever is running the 2012 campaign for the Republicans.
I honestly believe even if things get a lot worse we are going to have to fight tooth and nail to get that socialist sonofabitch out of the White House. The idea that "anybody" will be able to beat Obama is both naive and delusional.

And NOT a single gram of brain matter between them!
He looks about 12 in that pic.
Can you make out the message on the t-shirt of the heavy-set woman in the pic on the left, 3rd row ?
Why would anyone suspect that Chicago autoworkers would not idolize Obama?
Yeah, like a kid in a candy shop.
(A shop that he’s trying to keep union and moving towards green garbage.)
Don’t be too disgusted...they’re probably just paid UAW/Obama cheerleaders.
I remember the post civil war history where the plantation owners that remained said they would create contracts so onerous that they would be tantamount to slavery.
Unions and this idol worship are just another form of slavery. Obama says worship me and I will give you money.
(contrast with Ronal Reagan who would say believe in youself and you will be free)
Doggone it! From these pictures, it looks like Obama will carry the Black Vote in 2012.
(Tongue planted firmly in cheek.)
Freakin’ AWESOME!!!!!!!! Sir-Mix-Alot
