Although not from movies, may I add, "I was in the pool" and "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

'Hasta La Vista, Baby' - Terminator 2I reserve to use that phrase one more time, when Ahnold leaves the governor's house.

Not movie catch phrases, but two terms used in movie discussions that make me crazy: “Badass” and “Iconic.”

Frankly speaking, I'm rather tired of being told what I can say, and what I can't say.
Movies are a part of Americana, and every year a new generation sees said movies for the first time, ever. I would stand to reason that they might find "Hasta Lavista Baby" as funny as the last generation did the first time THEY heard it years ago.
If this premise were not true, then people would not still be quoting "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn", or, "Here's looking at you, kid.". These are old, old movies, but there are still generations to come who will view them, like them, and QUOTE them.
"Go ahead, make my day." has become a way to challenge someone to do something stupid...like trying to tell people to quit quoting movie lines. They are a good and familiar way to get one's point across in a humorous way.
I say, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead"...
