In early June of this year, European countries were strongly criticizing the WHO over the handling of the H1N1 flu. They accused the WHO of exaggerating the threat posed by the H1N1 flu. They also said that the WHO had been influenced by the pharmaceutical companies.

I'm glad the European countries dug into this. The whole thing smelled funny.

Millions of doses of H1N1 vaccine were recently dumped by the CDC...literally, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars down the drain.
And we are supposed to believe the “experts” and state-sponsored scientists about climate change???

H1N1 flu = Swine flu

Notice how the name was changed a couple of years back for commercial reasons...This way the Muslims would purchase it too.

I’m glad I didn’t get the shot.

Did anyone actually count how many people died from this supposed epidemic?

Just the latest in a series of “pandemic” non events. I’d like to see some “true facts” about how many documented cases of West Nile Virus, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, SARS and all of these other subjects of breathless press releases from WHO functionaries warning that human life on the planet is doomed if we don’t do as they say.

If there were ever an example of the fable “Wolf! Wolf!”, this is it.

Should consultants be screened BEFORE they advise the WHO to see if they are connected with the drug companies in some way?

Most experts in the field are likely to have some connection with drug companies, present or past. Just a fact.

This is a case of the WHO that cried wolf. Highly unfortunately, as it is a statistical certainty that sooner or later a flu strain of similar virulence to the 1918/19 strain will show up.

This little episode will make it that much harder to get people to buy into the warnings when the real thing arrives.

I find the media's denunciations disgusting. They did their best to push this issue, and now they turn around and get all self-righteous in denouncing those who said there was a big problem. Giving themselves a complete out, of course.

I've seen nothing resembling real evidence that those who thought this was a huge problem weren't sincere in their beliefs, regardless of how mistaken those beliefs turned out to be.

Right, but in the Fable of the Wolf it’s important to remember a real wolf eventually made his appearance.

I didn't get the shot either, but there were deaths - and if I remember correctly they were all confined to people who had various preexisting respiratory problems.
Every vaccination should be weighed by the individual in that manner. What are the risks vs. benefits? In the case of this trumped up 'pandemic' scare -- unless you had a preexisting lung problem, you should have passed.
I wonder how many people suffered negative side-effects from this H1N1 vaccine.

Makes me even more happy that I refused the shot, along with not allowing my kids to get it.
Personally I’m young enough and healthy enough to say NO! to all flu shots. God made us wonderful immune systems, let it work and seek help only when needed.

“I’m glad I didn’t get the shot.”

Me too. Although at least then I would have gotten something for my tax dollars! :-)

“Did anyone actually count how many people died from this supposed epidemic?”

Driving in to work this morning I heard it was 16,000 (or so) people worldwide who died. And that’s a pandemic? Heaven forbid something really bad hits us—will that now have to be called a “super-duper pandemic”?

I get a flu shot every year and in addition, last year I had a pneumonia shot (good for five years). I should think that would be more than enough protection.

Speaking of pneumonia, I’m thinking that at some point we may find out that at least some of the deaths were actually due to pneumonia and not to H1N1. Not that many people die from the flu unless, as you said, they are in fragile health to begin with. But pneumonia can be a killer at any age, particularly if it’s not treated in time.

This is kind of like, “What if someone gave a flu, an no one came?”

Pandemics are like economic recoveries-you can’t tell you’re in one unless the MSM tells you that you are.

It was a contrived emergency which the obama administration did not want to go to waste. They created it as a pretext to propel the health care program which they decided to ram down our throats, the despicable bastards. Even going to the point of trying to scare hell out of little children, innoculate old people with limited resources and compromised immune systems. They wasted billions of dollars of our money for their personal agrandizement.
