PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- An office manager who admitted stealing $475,000 from her employer has been sentenced to 21 years of house arrest so she can work to repay it.
Lanette Sansoni's unusual sentence came after her ex-boss said he was more interested in restitution than jail time.....

She going to be stuffing envelopes?
I bet it's a government job. Probably with the IRS. It would have jobs that match her skills.
I agree with this sentence. It will save tax payers a lot of money and her boss will get his money back. It beats sending her to prison to live on the tax payer’s dime with out her being able to pay off her debt to her ex boss.
“so she can work to repay it”
Algor’s massage therapist?
(and we need more than pics of ankles so as to decide guilt or innocence)
I would also prefer restitution to jail time.
A woman spent 1 1/2 years in jail for identity theft (mine), also, the identity theft of another and bank fraud.
I’d rather had the approximately $2,000 I was out. I wonder if her other victims(s) felt the same way. I don’t know how much she took them for.
Still some people like my crackhead perp probably couldn’t earn much anyway. Eventually, picking fruit, she could have paid me off though.
