What is the most expensive car in the world? The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold for $8,700,000 in 1987. However, that car and many alike will not be included in this list because it is not available on the market today. It is hard to imagine someone would actually spend 8 million dollars on a car instead of using it for something more productive. However, if you have the money and the opportunity, you will definitely spend a small fraction of it to place a few of these supercars in your garage. Here are the 10 most expensive production cars on the market.

Nary a one with a pickup bed or a gun rack. Disappointing.

Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000.
“Its rarity (limited to 20) and slick design are the reasons why it is so expensive and costly to own.”

...’costly to own’ means an oil change and tune up will run you $5000...of course, if you’re rich enough to own one, you don’t care.

Hell, local gadfly Louie Brero sold this Ferrari for over $2,000,000 CASH a few years ago. Louie asked me to bankroll the purchase of a "boat Load" of British MC parts in the late 60s. He is a true legend here on Humboldt Bay and his name comes up every month...

He was a damned pest but there are hundreds of stories about him. As a matter of fact I am in the process of emailing one of his confidants asking him about the Cad-Curtis his dad left him. Louie went into hiding after the sale so his sister couldn’t get her hands on the money he got for the Ferrari...
