How does one create a ping list?

Sorry about the vanity! I would like to create a healthy and natural living ping list. How does one do this? Is there a way to save the list of people who want on it and then just transfer the names to the post? Thanks!

When you do get it up and running, I’d like to be on it.

Add an “n” to your “pig” list between the “i” and the “g”.

< a href="[Link]" >[Descriptive Name]< /a >

You can substitute < img src="[picture URL]" > for [Descriptive Name] to get a clickable pic. I do that with my Navair list logo and the address for a keyword search on "navair" as the [Link].

Can I be on the ‘healthy and natural living ping list’ and the smokers ping list at the same time? Or will it crash the system?

Right. But what I’m using the code for is links to threads so the “a href...” works well for that. For the one photo, I do use “img src=”...

What I'm talking about is using a picture instead of a descripitive word or phrase as a clickable link. Click here, then click the Navair logo.

Takes too much time for me. I use the URL to the thread in question, then the title of the thread as the descriptive part. Two quick cut & pastes and it’s done.

If you look at the link in my post, you’ll see how many threads I linked to this morning. Inserting pictures would be an impossible task due to time constraints. I use the KISS principal...

I keep the “Hockey Ping List” on my profile page.

Easy to update, easy to access.

How does one create a ping list?

You use three cups of bleached flour, 1/2 cup of buttermilk, throw an egg in there, add a cup of cornmeal and some dried jalapenos (amount dependent on your own taste.) Hum a little paprika and cayenne in there and then bake all of that at 350 for 35 minutes.

At least I think that's how it's done.

I have the code on the same notepad I keep my list on. I can copy and paste the code as fast as I could type the word “ping.”

No matter how much I hum at paprika and cayenne, they just sit there. Is there some special tune I should be humming?

Well, there is, but I'd be in huge trouble if I revealed it. I'm talking McChrystal-type trouble.

There are ways of gleaning that information. You just have to pay close attention to the clues...

We have a small ping list which I keep on my about page. This is to ping people to news about Anna Nicole’s and her Son’s death.Having it on my about page gives everyone access to it when there is news that is note worthy.Hope this helps:)
