London England is where this incident took place, and from what has been reported about the laws against animal cruelty, the woman in this video could be in for a rougher ride than the cat had inside the trash can she dropped it into where it spent 15 hours![]()
The surveillance video posted online by Lola the cat's owners takes only seconds, but it has outraged thousands of viewers around the world, some of whom posted angry messages pledging retribution. Now, police say they've identified the woman and posted guards outside her house in central England.
The owner of Lola the cat was shocked to find out what happened to her cat.
Investigators at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which prosecutes cruelty cases, said Tuesday that the gray striped cat was trapped for 15 hours before being rescued on Sunday morning by her owners, who told a British newspaper they heard Lola's muffled cries from inside the bin. The distressed cat was unharmed.
"We thought she might be trapped under the car because she sounded like she was hurt, so we followed her cries and eventually found her in the bin. I was absolutely heartbroken to see how someone could just be so cruel. I don't know what went through her head but it was just disgusting to watch and it broke my 8-year-old daughter's heart."
The cat may be unharmed, but I am not sure I can say the same thing will stay true for the heartless woman who dropped the cat into the trash.
Coventry police department said a small number of community support officers - wardens who assist the police but have no powers of arrest - had been stationed near the woman's home after a crowd gathered outside, because after the video went viral thousands of outraged viewers posted angry messages pledging retribution.

Video of a Psycho Woman's actions that will leave you speechless.
People do far more cruel things to dogs, cats and their fellow man in this country. It just rarely gets caught on video.
Someone needs to lock that bitch in a dumpster for 15 hours.
Yep. But the dumpster needs to be made of clear plastic, and videoed on the Net.
We can find out.
I have some hand cuffs, you want to take a trip?
LOL
Meanwhile, in other news, over a thousand babies were killed in their mother's womb just today in the United States.
The helpless are very easy to harm and kill be it animal or human. All it takes is a disordered mind.
Someone needs to lock that bitch in a dumpster for 15 hours.

In a TIED plastic bag.
this happened in Coventry right near where am old army pal lives.
So was your buddy in the American military, and then moved to England after he left the army?
Also, you need to call him and ask him to pay her a vists for us concerned Freepers.
Ok, I do animal rescue and have very low tolerance for cruelty. I am talking the sleepless night, screw me up for days, kind of low tolerance.
How bad is this?
No animal injury, just real bad behavior, but the cat is fine. Albeit afraid of garbage containers and little old heavy set gray headed ladies.
Dead Dog approves! Put the kitty into the basket.
ok thanks. Worst than I liked but not as nearly as bad as I expected.
I am not ashamed to say that I would have kicked her ass from one end of that street to the other.
Can you believe her. I told my husband he needs to go haunt that old bitc*. The Mr is dead, has been for some time.
I really don’t believe in ghosts, since I am a Christian, but if I did, and they existed, I am sure he would.
He always did have a soft side for the furry friends of ours.
that whole thing is very, very odd......
What was wrong with what she did? She only threw out the trash.
I mean, really... it’s not like cats are anything but the most vile creatures on G-d’s green earth, you know. After all, they toy with their prey - cruelly torturing innocent little birds for their sick, depraved amusement.
If anything, this lady deserves a medal.
Sounds like a neighborhood full of crazed Muslims.
Fat old bag. I’d like to have tossed her into a room with my mom’s cat Roonie when she was in a bad mood....She would come out looking like a pile of ramen noodles
I hate birds. All they are good for is crapping on my car.
They found the woman. She now has police protection.
Her case will go before the RSPCA, not that they have any authority. She said she was “only kidding” and it “was just a cat”.

I’m gonna beat my usual drum one more time, and remind people that if you really love your cats, keep ‘em inside where cars won’t run over them, coyotes won’t have them for lunch, and crazed old ladies won’t throw them into dumpsters. (Or wheelie bins!) The average lifespan for an outdoor cat, or indoor/outdoor, is about 3 yrs. Average for indoor-only cat is about 12 yrs.
That said, I hope that crazed beeyotch has to move to France to escape her notoriety now.

"...if you really love your cats, keep em inside where cars wont run over them, (etc, blah blah...)I understand your logic, but repectfully disagree to a small extent:
My cats love to roam. They love to stalk. They love to kill (mostly cockroaches and geckos). Their quality of life is greatly improved by their outdoor activities. Their shelf life, not so much, but am a strong believer in quality over quantity. My neighbor's cat looks out her window with sadness in her eyes as my cats pounce on butterflies and roll in the grass, stretching out their bellies to catch to sun.
That said, I will keep them indoors once they get tool old to defend themselves or flee from predators. Then they will live out their years in safety and quietude, but until then, I say "rock on, kitties; the world is yours to kill and eat!"
(CBS) When his missing cat, Lola, was found in a trash bin, howling in distress, Darryl Mann, of Coventry, England, checked the surveillance video from a security camera outside his house.
On the tape, Mann saw woman pause to stroke the cat, then inexplicably drop it in the bin.
CBS News correspondent Richard Roth reported on “The Early Show” the cat was trapped in the trash container for 15 hours.
Mann told reporters, “I don’t know how anyone could, you know, go to bed and sleep at night knowing they’ve just locked a cat in a wheelie-bin; I just, you know, I don’t know what was going through her head at the time.”
Mystified by the random act of cruelty that turned his cat into kitty litter, Mann posted the video on Facebook, where it didn’t take long to stir online outrage — even death threats aimed at the middle-aged woman from the middle of England — ultimately identified as 45-year old Mary Bale, who works at a local bank.
Bale told the tabloid The Sun, “It was a split second of madness.”
She explained to the paper, “I thought it would be funny.” And anyway, she added, “It’s just a cat.”

In a “split second of madness”, I bet I could break my foot off in this pig’s oversized keister.
“She said she was only kidding and it was just a cat.”
Well, Ms. Cat Hater, you are just a bitch and now everyone knows it.
Bird poop is a gift from the heavens. To wipe it away is to wipe away a divine favor.
You must BURN! Burn in the fires of HELL for your hatred of birds!
Oh, wait. I think I’m channeling the cat lovers here.
