In addition, Romney is presenting a more "easygoing and accessible" image instead of again offering up "the formally dressed, perfectly coiffed, carefully rehearsed candidate" of the 2008 campaign, according to the Globe.
"Mitt is doing a better job at low-keying it,'' former New Hampshire Republican Party chairman Steve Duprey told the newspaper. "He would be wise to stay with it right through a presidential primary.''
Romney has been spending the summer at his $3.5 million home on New Hampshire's Lake Winnipesaukee, where he drives a Chevy Silverado truck and can be seen in jeans, not suits. (That's an image that has worked well for another Massachusetts Republican, Sen. Scott Brown.) He finished second in New Hampshire in the 2008 cycle despite hailing from nearby Massachusetts, and appears to be focusing on building enough support to win the state (which comes second in the voting calendar and plays a major role in who ultimately wins the nomination) in 2012.

I wonder who started the tractor for him? No one from Mass is ever going to get elected President as a Republican, But then again I never figured that the people of the US would ever vote for a Muslim terrorist either, but look who is sitting in the oval office, a muslim terrorist usurper thanks to the votes of many and the stupidity of the GOP.
LOL. Rinestone Romney.
Is he reining English? and what’s with the shorts on the tractor? White socks? Yeah. Metro man.
That is one thing that separates Mitt Romney from other politicians, you never have any idea what he believes in, or what position he will take on the same issue from year to year.
It is as though he steps out of an office with a fist full of handouts and announces this is my new current position and talking points on X, disregard last years handouts on X, but do store them for future use as they may become current again in the future.
Alex Beam: In truth, Ronald Reagan
and Mitt Romney have as much in common
as Cardinal OMalley and Conan OBrien.
Deservedly or not, Reagan earned a reputation for constancy.
Once he turned against communism, he opposed it big-time.
. And our former governor? Inconstancy, thy name is Mitt!
A womans right to choose? Yes! No! Yes!
Are we in Massachusetts? Yes! Are we in Iowa? No!
Are we on TV? Whatever!
Romney praises Obama again
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."
Do you think the tractor is actually moving in that picture or did an illegal alien just hop off after parking it there for him?
LOL, you are so right, how many people driving a moving vehicle look BACK!
Gov. Dukakis (who did not have to flee Massachusetts):
"Mitt Romney is the biggest disappointment I think I've ever seen.
He was a lousy governor. After a year and a half, he just walked away from the job.
He just bounced around, depending on the way the wind blows."
The Reason v.3.0 is needed: Proven-Failed Governor Mitt Romney:
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

"Hey, I own cattle.Well, cattle futures, actually. Chinese cattle futures. I made a killing shorting the American cattle market. Used the money to buy mirrors."
