America

~ Our Rebirth ~

Come to me Beloved Land

Hewn of truth in heart and hand

For the time has come for us each as Man

To uphold Freedom by our stand

By our labors in the field

In our factories shaping steel

In our minds with hope annealed

We stamped our land with Freedom’s seal

So America we come to thee

For all the things we know can be

For in your azure eyes we see

Your greatness for Man’s liberty

In your mountains high and valleys low

Strewn with rivers lakes and snow

We live our lives and spend our stow

For the splendor of creation’s flow

And so we built our blessed wonder

Justly forged of ingenious thunder

In grace we walked and struck asunder

All that dreamt of freedom’s plunder

But now there are wailings in our skies

And no end comes to the rush of lies

So once more together we must rise

And return to our land the true and wise

So we reach now to the spirit within

And distilling our truth we banish sin

For we have before us amidst the din

Becoming again all we ever have been

So speak to your neighbors and gather your friends

And remove these tyrants who as jackals descend

Let us raise such great fury by vote web and pen

That November we win our Republic again!

Come to us Beloved Land

Breathe in us the fire that steadies the hand

And let us within you by Our command

Bequeath to the Ages the Freedom of Man
