In Kansas City, Kansas, a "sexual predator" walked away from a jail, wanted to "go to Kentucky" so he purchased a car, then drove to the DMV to get his car tags in Kansas City, Missouri (paying for all with checks from his personal checking acct., naturally.)

He was quickly "arrested without incident" and arrangements are being made to have him a "extradited" back across the State Line to Kansas City, Kansas (8 miles and 10 minutes).

Obviously, he was interested in obeying the law (purchasing a car instead of stealing one) and purchase state and city tags (again instead of stealing a license plate). Unfortunately, he never thought ahead to use cash instead of using his personal checking account, presumably also using his driver's license for ID.

j/k
He appears to have a serious genetic problem!
