**Update -- Intel Hub -- RSOE EDIS is reporting that a 1,000 strong search team was tasked with finding the impact area and so far have been unable to locate it... Such a colossal event, so little media coverage. Around 3:10PM Sunday afternoon residents of Colombia were awestruck when the clear sky was cracked open by a massive fireball that exploded upon impact leaving a 300 foot wide crater and a lot of rattled nerves.

If I were looking up into the blue sky on a beautiful day and saw something like that, I’d promptly need a change of clothes. We owe a big thanks to those that had the very cool opportunity/presence of mind to grab pics of this event.

Just imagine how impressively bright that thing had to be to break through the daytime sky with light like that. I could only imagine what it would have looked like at night. Probably would have lit up the skies bright enough to easily read by!

Are you serious? 300 feet roughly equal to a minivan! Either 300 feet mathematically underwent serious shrinkage, or the minivans around you place are the size of mega-yachts! Measure out 300 feet and tell me what minivan is that size.

Even if he meant the rock, there is no minivan that is 300 feet long. That is the size of a superyacht (though nowadays the newest most expensive are 400+ feet). He must have multiplied his minivan 10 times

They have 8 other reports for mine, so I guess it was not a hallucination. The one I saw seemed to break up in flight, probably not leaving a crater.

Don’t know if there is a similar place to report things outside of the US.

Not a problem, I was a little bit vague, as are the reports.

I think they're looking for a 300 ft. crater based on the size of the reported meteor.

The searchers are looking in the Zapata Swamp area now.
